- The Wanderers went on the road to York City and came back with three points, which means they are a team in form. But a team in form that can't win at home are no team at all! So the arrival of Ebbslfeet United, a club that's struggling to find a place in the National League even more so than Dorking, is a chance for Marc White's side to finally look at the midtable and think, sure, that's where we belong.
Still, with The Fleet looking to redeem that day in the sun, this ain't gonna be easy...

Ebbsfleet fan here, thought that we were the slightly better side throughout the game but after the red card the headloss was so clear to see, dorking looked lost, hope you do well next season #UTF ❤️🤍

I'd a tried 5-3-1. Couldn't hear as much encouragement in this game from the sidelines as there was versus York, also the go,go,go guy is a legend in my book. Players say it weirdly actually helps🤣👍

That being said, i look at Dorkings situation 2 ways
1. Marcs brought these players in and either they aren't good enough or they're the type that dont like being criticised
Or
2. The quality of the National League has gotten so good that its very difficult to be a part time going against full time clubs
I respect Marc because he's never afraid to tell it how it is no matter who it might annoy

Firstly I’m liking the new format thought I’d joined as a member for a moment but then I remembered I’m probably shadow banned 😂
15:45 I’m also liking this new tactic Marc seems to have developed on act first then ask for forgiveness by being super super nice to the officials. It’s done now I’m just really enjoying the game. Loved that line. And the handling of the ref, that’s the way! Charm them into giving decisions you want. Fighting on the high ground I call that. No point getting touchline bans when charm and flattery works so much better in getting the ref to give things your way.
Also Dom Poleon think he’s playing for Ebbsfleet (I always comment before I’ve watched it all and edit to add anything I’ve missed) he was terrible for us, until we signed Theo Robinson, oh and before that Kurtis Guthrie, Dom Poleon was the name we used when describing Bradford City signing a useless striker. I’m sure every club has one. In fairness to him, we were in League One at the time he was with us.
If I recall this was a result I felt absolutely pivotal in Dorking’s survival. Like was already said this was a must win, and yeah it’s an over used phrase. But it set the tone for other “must wins” and created a life line for others in the bottom 4. But hopefully Dorking get back at the first attempt.
For the record, despite your best efforts, you have not yet been shadow banned.

I love what you do BOA and have been a sub for a long time. What would it take to bring the Dorking stuff up to close to real-time? It definitely saps the tension when you know what's happened 4 months down the line. This isn't a criticism, just a query. Is it the league that prevents it, or simply that you'd need 5 more full time employees! Keep up the amazing work.
There are numerous reasons for us having a gap between the start of the season and the start of the show. Firstly, it’s helpful for us to know what the future holds when making episodes. When telling the story of the season we like to set up and pay off stuff that will happen later in the show.
Secondly, we need time to get the show together. We shoot a lot of footage (1-2 terabytes per episode) and have to edit a ton of stuff. This is a two-man production in the main, (one person on each show) so we have to turn around episodes incredibly quickly. Unlike Sunderland Til I Die and All Or Nothing, which come out 12-24 months after the start of their respective seasons, we are much, much closer to the event. Despite not having 30-40 people in our production crew.
And thirdly, it’s way better for the clubs we are shooting for us to not be current. We’re treading a fine line by showing what’s going on behind closed doors, and keeping all parties happy is something we are very sensitive about. Therefore, allowing them time to move on before we show what happened makes it easier on the coaches and players.
And finally, we are telling the story of HOW a scoreline happened more than the score itself. Unless we achieved the impossible and screened this documentary live, we are always going to be after the game. So it makes no real difference if it’s 1 week or 3 months - the show should still be interesting if we’ve done our job correctly.
We would love to be up to date, and we're discussing it at the moment. But the cons won't go away, and there's a very good chance I'll have a mental breakdown if we release within a week or two. But I'll have a mental breakdown based on how many people complain about this anyway.
We've released nine series and none of them were up to date, it just became a thing for people this season as the audience has grown. This subject is utterly maddening to me, but here we are. Be right back, going to tear my hair out for a while.

Defence no pace, looks nervous & can’t play with ball. Midfield no control composed player to dictate play or possession, also no pace box to box, no creativity. GK good & forwards don’t get the service to suit their ability.

How did this team get relegated? They have an amazing team, statistically really good players. Compared to other teams in the National League, Dorking on paper should have stayed up. The team just give away silly challenges and goals, and maybe they would benefit from another manager? And Marc stepping away and letting someone with more experience in? But then again BOA relies HEAVILY on Marc’s shouting, talks, swearing at refs etc. and I also love this Channel and Marc definitely makes the show entertaining.
Need a better 'keeper for starters.
