Here's a little fact about this song. Stayin' Alive' was later used in a study to train medical professionals to provide the right number of chest compressions per minute while performing CPR. Singing staying alive while keeping an unconscious person alive through CPR EDITED: Didn't know this comment will go through the ages. I wish in my last breath, the doctor will sing this while resuscitating me 😅😇.
This song helped me save people! Before the war, I was part of the resuscitation team in my country. I've had chest compressions on more than one occasion - I was taught in college that the rhythm of this song matches perfectly with the chest compressions of CPR. Now, in exile, I face a lot of difficulties and it is unlikely that I will again work in my specialty, but this song keeps my memories of how, after seven grueling minutes, after another defebrillator pulse, the febrile line on the heart monitor turns into PQRST, how then a person opens his eyes, and after a few days he says "thank you." And from listening to it, I feel warm in the area of own pericardium. Be happy and STAYIN' ALIVE despite everything!

Every time I hear this song I think of the same thing. I'll never be able to not imagine this. Someone is lying on the floor, unconscious and in need of CPR, and someone rushes in saying "I KNOW CPR!" They rush over to the person and pull this song up on their phone in like 0.5 seconds. They start to get real into the groove, eyes closed, nodding their head to the beat. A bystander says "What are you doing!?" and their friend replies "It's for CPR timing. Let them work." Everyone is watching with anticipation and fear while this person just gets lost in the groove, baby, yeah. Eyes closed, head nodding away. They slowly stand up and start doing the disco finger dance, forgetting what they're doing. This person can DANCE. John Travolta would be jealous. That's the real power of the Bee Gees, man.
