Brian, you should keep him. He is absolutely adorable, and like you said, would be a great mascot for your zoo. A great name for him would be Aureolin, which is a shade of yellow. Ari for short. I think it fits him.

Name idea: Aikido (Japanese) translation is, "the way of harmonious spirit", or "the way of unifying [with] life energy". It's a form of martial arts, a technique with concern for the well-being of the attacker. Which, I feel, you do by correctly educating the public on how to handle and care for them. As a lot of reptiles can become dangerous if not respected, and properly handled. I think you should keep him. He would be another amazing ambassador.
