I think this is a great destination for summertime, only a little over an hour drive from San Francisco, and a great starting point to explore the coastline on Highway 1 between Bodega Bay and Mendocino.

Depending on which site you get, but in general Doran is pretty windy, especially at the Jetty sites, Gull would be your best bet since there are more trees surrounding the sites there.
Actually went in may, almost got kicked out because I had music playing, wasn’t even loud, it was like 7pm no neighbors on either side, I was pretty upset, ngl, I’ll never go back again, felt it was a lil race based hatred. Was just me and my girlfriend, crazy

try to go in between mid september to mid november with october being the best weather.
