y'all need to stop overusing the word underrated so liberally. is this song relatively unknown with the gp or people who are not familiar with bangtan's music? sure. but army, those that are here for the right reasons anyways, regard this as one of their most raw and telling songs. gp validation shouldn't be a barometer for a song's success. or do y'all just like feeling special? like you're the only ones who REALLY love the tannies' music?
Its insane to see how their old songs were so focused on the rap line and now its mostly focused on the vocal line. Every song they ever put out is gold and I appreciate how they never make songs that sound the same.
Yeah exactly. I do find it a bit sad that a lot of popular songs they put out nowadays is more vocal line/pop focused, with some rap incorporated into it.
they focus on vocals now because their theme, i guess you could say, is different. they used to be sort of a hip hop group and now they're more pop based.
@@jaygeniusjjangjjangmanboon5090 i know exactly how you feel. The dope thing about BTS is that they understand and most importantly RESPECT the roots of hip hop. Some of our American artists don’t do that, so much respect.
tragic It’s not “y’all”, I’m American and on top of that I’m black lmao. I just hate that the Post Malone’s and Lil Xans of the world participate and profit off of my culture without respecting those that came before them. I’m not even a BTS fan like that, I just respect them for that.
Im dyselxic so i though you put the "post malones and lil nas x" But when they started off they were going down that paty but for them and especially wkdhakja RM it was a sort of fetish But ye i agree im tited of hearing lil pump,69, etc etc
this will FOREVER be one of my favorite bts songs. I dont understand how not many people know about this gem. After many years i still get goosebumps reading the lyrics
This era of BTS is so underrated! The amount of passion and love the rapline puts into their lyrics and rap never fails to make me emotional. I wish more armys knew about this song and this whole era of BTS in general.
As someone who also grew up on Mac Miller, Kendrick, and J Cole, these guys are now my favorite artists ever. They bleed the culture and made something of their own. For example I’ve never heard a rap song like Intro: Persona, and for that reason it sounds incredibly ahead of it’s time. I hope more Korean hip hop inspired artists emerge because of BTS. To me they could be as influential as Nujabes in bridging hip hop with a beautiful Asian culture to make something new, yet universally powerful
no one: Hobi: "Yeah ma role model, Dynamic Duo.." Me: remembers that hobi listened to Dynamic Duo's song after he broke with his girlfriend and start crying😭😭
Let's not forget that out of rap line Hobi is the one who wasn't a rapper before that and to be honest he killed it even without the experience. So talented in everything he does! 💜
J-Hope has Mac miller, Kendrick and J. Cole as his role models, and now collabed with Cole, this is a whole circle of moments! I hope we see him and Kendrick on one work too. Their rapping style is so similar.
music isnt a sin tho ... its just if you get too immersed in it to the point it strays you away from your religion then it will be haraam. thats what i was taught anyway :)
ama 7 yeah and i think if the music has no sense meaning (you know what i mean) its haram so i must say bts music is Halal cause all of they lyrics is so beautiful and meaningful that every people can relate. (sorry for my English)
I can't believe I hadn't looked this one up since I got into the army fandom like damn when jimin's part came in so smooth after hobi's verse I died inside oooh too good too FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
This is SUCH an underrated song!! The lyrics are so beautiful and meaningful it makes me cry every time... Tbh this whole year of me being ARMY has grown and changed me so much but I wished I knew them since the very beginning... I just wasted so much time being sad and insecure... Thank you for the lyrics :)
This one of BTS' most passionate songs idk why it took me so long to really look into the lyrics of this song. One of Hope's bests flows and just raw RM and Suga. Great video
Can we talk about how GREAT jhope's verse was??? The amount of references he made and the clever lines he wrote like "I'm wild for the night, feel like A$AP" ugh its SO GOOD!!
bruh how am i gonna come back to this years later and still see that it’s extremely underrated… i can tell that there was a lot of (hip hop) thought and research gone into this song. it’s genuinely a shame to see it under many fans radar still
O god I have been listening to this for like 2 years now but now I'm looking at the lyrical.... just woooo Of course BTS and lyrics go together like magic
Joon and Yoongi aren't simply amazing here, they're writing about what probably is the biggest love of their lives. Their bars are amazing, while Joon referenced more to the artists who inspired him, Yoongi told his experience. Great lyrics, great flow, great delivery, Yoongi and Namjoon are really two of the greatest
@@enchantedpropaganda Ive know them since 2016 and been a stan since spring of 2017 and agree I prefer their old songs to but at last they still have good b sides
their older music is so painfully underated, been following them since debut and their nugu days. So I'm an entitled brat who feels irked when the music that made love them is underappreciated TuT
If you think about it, you will know how much BTS loves hiphop culture. RM and suga's life basically revolved around hiphop. It was their inspiration. Then the other boys came along and equally respected and loved hiphop. Jhope's career was built with rhythm and hiphop. Vocal line took it as their inspiration and shown huge interest in getting to know the real hiphop. So this song is an ultimate reflection of their feelings towards it and how much of an influence it has on both their career and life. In the past, i never really shown much interest towards rap songs or hiphop, but after getting to know Bangtan, i discoverd the essence of human life in the world of hiphop and in general music. It's truly a life changing experience.
