He had been accused of extreme abuse towards his kids, going as far as to muffle his infants cries by shoving towels in their mouth, as well as locking his oldest daughter in a camera equipped room so she couldn’t escape. It’s not “it is what it is”, he’s a violent and vile person who should not be around his children.

Men complain so much about being treated unfairly in family court meanwhile all the divorce, child support, and custody laws were written by MEN. And most of the judges making these decisions (like the one in this case) are MEN. As someone from Hagerstown, the city that this happened in, it’s appalling how many people are defending him. I actually saw the helicopters the night of the shooting, so I’ve been watching this unfold from hour one, quite literally.
They have released information about Pedro, including how he locked his oldest daughter in her room and would not let her leave, and even put cameras in the room to watch her. There’s been multiple reports made over the years about him and the abuse.
It’s also reported that when one of the kids was an infant he would shove towels in their mouth to muffle the crying.
He was a danger to his fucking kids and should never be allowed around them, so calling him “poor guy” is disgusting.

dont get me wrong, murder is awful. but what if you wrongfully convicted someone and sentenced them to 40+ years or life in prison, you essentially murdered them yeah? sure they're "alive" but you took their entire life away forever. Someone's father or mother, someones daughter or husband.. etc. All i'm saying is, I can understand why someone might murder a judge or one of their family members if the judge wrongfully "murdered" someone they know. Not saying it's right, but that's what makes being a judge so dangerous. If you take away someone's life, they might try to take yours.

You do not think he knew he already lost his home and was made impoverished? Lose the kids was a given even if he had some pathetic schedule for visitation.
Maybe he chose not to work the rest of his life barely scraping by to pay child support as he lived out of a van.
You do not know what he already knew. This seems to be the narrative with the ill informed but where his divorce was leaked, he pretty much lost everything.
And if you can lose all contact and custody or children for missing a court date… maybe the system needs to change. Think the wife would lose such custody or even lose all child support if she doesn't show up? This isn’t a criminal court.

Josh Powell murdered his wife and kids because his life was exposed and she was going to divorce him.
Pedro murdered a judge because at age 49 he was forced to lose his home and any equity he has built up in it, forced to lose his kids on mete accusations by his wife not criminal convictions or actual proof (aka judge believes whatever the woman says), and made him impoverished until retirement age with child support.
Guess Pedro decided to overrule the judge’s decision. Not weeping for a dead judge who got terminated for not considering the father for one second.

Who said he was even an immigrant you xenophobic dipshit? The dude who brought MY surname here arrived from Europe, (if you can find it on a map), BEFORE the American Revolution. You know, when the southwestern portion of the (todays) US still belonged to Spain, Russia still owned Alaska, Hawaii was its in nation and the central part of (todays) US, still belonged to France. And my ancestor (5th great grandfather) never (to our knowledge) even set foot in Mexico.

I don't condone what he did that to the judge but cutting off ENTIRELY visitation right of 4-children is truly misguide and unfair judgement by the expired judge who must have been listen to only mother side of the story how her husband is no good unfit to be father, etc.; in short, something wrong about divorce settlement laws in US!

He lost his visitation because of accusations from his wife in a divorce proceeding not because because of provable facts.
In addition he was made homeless and impoverished.
