I was working in a Covid ICU doing documentation, the television was on, Jimmie Kimmel Live and this Group started singing Colors, I was immediately hooked, for so many years I didn’t understand how the Grammys picked artist for an award because I’d lost hope in today’s music, then this Band managed to resurrect music and caused me to look up at the television that night at work, then find their music, last week I bought a record player as we used to call them and a Black Pumas Album for my Sister, I told her that she would recognize the music although she’d never heard of the Band. This week, I bought a Record Player and a Black Pumas Album, I played that album on both sides and enjoyed it. Gayle King don’t have to be a fan of this Band, IMO Gayle King is not normal or a fan of Black People, so her final comments came as no surprise to me, she can stay in her dark, lonely corner or closet as the world continues to move on and enjoy this music in the Sun. Black Pumas, thank you for saving Music

They deserve this and so much more. Grew up listening to music like this they are absolutely incredible talented group, Eric voice and Adrian playing and the backup singers they are the best. Like music out of the 60-70s👏🏼got their CD 💿 if you don’t have it do yourself a favor and get it 👏🏼🖤♥️🖤♥️
