With the spray you put on it, would it hold up to the weather? My Dad was a woodworker. He passed away March of 2018. I'd love to find some of these to put on his monument.
Pretty much any wood will work. Something with a closed grain like cherry, poplar, or maple I think would be best, but anything you can get a good shaving from.
Probably isn't sharp enough. You need to be able to shave with that blade. If it's sharp and still not working, blade is cutting too deep. Set it to a shallower cut.
Ditto for me. The first one cautiously approaches the open gate with her nose close to the ground and a quizzical look on her face, wondering if it's really true that the crazy fool left the gate open. "Must be some kind of trap", she thinks. Then as she standing in the open gateway, ruminating on the significance of all of this, one of her peers butts her though the gap. Well, then in very short order, they're all running down the lane and onto the public road on a grand adventure. I sure miss being around livestock...
I guess all of yall didnt notice that inside the gate to the left is more barbed wire fence, the gate is outside the area where the cows are, and not leading into that field at all,

Beautiful result! Deceptively simple process but lots of subtle things to get right to have it turn out so nicely.

It should cause you can put it on chairs that are supposed to be on porches outside :)
Can this work with hardwoods too? Especially dry hardwoods? Or does it have to be a green soft wood like pine or cedar?
