They referenced James Brown (Anderson laying on the floor) Everyone smoking (Sammy Davis Jr.) "Pop ins/ Pop outs" known as sliding in/ slide outs trademarked by The Temptations... The 70's vibe Bootsy Collins... With all that talent, ain't no way this album wouldn't be a banger!! I hope they reignite 70's!! I'm here for it!!
This actually took me back to my younger days in the 70s. The legendary Bootsy Collins was involved with the production if that should say something. I think that Anderson may have channeled James Brown with the "dying" part. J.B. faked having seizures on stage in his concerts back in the 60s & 70s, be escorted off the stage, turn around, run back on stage, & continued singing & dancing.
