When Saka and Martinelli are both off form then shallow people are going to say we need a striker, but if both of them are on form we are scoring 4/5 goals a game and nobody is talking about a striker. I am more worried with how inconsistent Saka and Gabi have been this season than getting a striker in the summer.

Its still not too long ago where these scenarios were never really a possibility for Arsenal, and rebuilding a team to national and intercontinental glory takes time. The biggest mistake arteta made at buying or selling a player has been emi martinez. The man is the best goal keeper in the world right now. Raya is a good keeper but doesn't feel me with any confidence whatsoever . I haven't seen raya make any world class save til now and haven't seen him bailing us out at certain situations where we were almost sure to concede. I personally would bring back emi martinez and not trigger that buy option for raya. BRING EMI MARTINEZ BACK PLEASE. EMI SAID AFTER THE VILLA GAME THAT HE STILL LOVES ARSENAL

Agree. That was our biggest mistake. Arsenal let him go under 10 million now he may cost 100 million! Without a good tall confident goalkeeper, Arsenal won’t win anything. Some players should be omitted such as Martinelli and need a perfect striker, not a false striker like Kai.

I’m not sure Raya is that much better than Ramsdale. we've come a long way from those batterings we used to get from Bayern. These lads are still young and still developing the mental resilience for these big matches. A couple of big signings in the summer may well change everything next season
This is our 1st year back after a long time. A QF loss to Bayern is not the worst to happen. We don't have the team that would beat Real Madrid in a UCL Semi final. The players have only gained from this experience and must use that to move forward. We still have the PL title to play for.

As Saeed says when we must this young Arsenal team never musts. Maybe it's a learning curve that all young teams need to go through but I can't remember the last time we won when we absolutely had to win. We are constantly falling short when it matters. Wanted 4th place missed out & got 5th, wanted to win the title missed out & finished 2nd. Wanted to get to the semi's, failed & went out in the quarters.
I hope the manager & the players are aware of this fact & they can learn from it & overcome it in the future.
Looking at the other teams performances you never stood a chance anyway, it was good to see them get this far. Keep going Arsenal more next year.
