I know this might seem weird but ive been having quite a bit of success with having a no four betting range. Calling three bets and never four betting. People don't three bet often enough. So calling three bets with a wide range keeps you balanced. Plus allows plenty of room to bluff on the flop turn and river. I mean if your effective stack is $1500 and someone three bets you to $90 theres plenty of playability on future streets to make moves. And at the same time keeps your opponents range in the hand because you didn't four bet them off their weaker holdings.
Idk just curious to hear your advice.
I mean poker is so perception oriented. How your opponent perceives you in the current moment really dictates my next move. So many little factors to take into account. Then calculate all of them and come up with the best strategy. Do i bluff in this spot? Depends on many factors. Depends on game flow such as how your opponents perceive you and as well as their own tendencies.
Anyways i love talking strategy. Im sure you know a lot more than me. So im open to advice.

The distinction being a "Set" implies only you can claim those 3 specific cards whereas "Trips or 3 of a kind" infers those 3 cards can be possibly be shared by 2 players... So the terminology does have a legit reason behind it ;-)
I had a huge fight over this with a so called know it all in poker room 1 time.. He said it was a diff way of saying the same thing calling trips a set...I said it's night 🌙 and Day 1 is out there 4 everyone to see and 1 is totally disguised... That's a huge pet peeve of mine... Not to many but I hate that 1...I don't say anything to anyone anymore it's not worth it.... Don't tap the tank as they say... lol...I hear D'negs do it as well and I don't think he's trolling... Some people honestly call it that...I know they know the difference but still call it that... Anyway sorry for the rant..
