One of the best player interviews I've seen. He speaks so well and seems like a really genuine bloke. Can't wait to see him back on the pitch in a number 32 shirt.

Steve B he’s got no chance of being captain! 😂 I mean he’s left us and had the chance to join us like 2 years ago, but picked Everton! I mean Prowse knows everyone, is WAY better and will be saints captain until he retires/leaves!

But in all honesty, if you got the opportunity to play for the club you love OR triple your wages, what would you do?
Considering a footballer's career is at best 10 years - I'd probably want to support my family as best I could. Never know.. he may take a pay cut and join us full time next year. If he does that, then I think he fully deserves to at least compete for the right to wear that armband.
Agree on JWP though, he's the role model, been here and is the poster boy of the club and loyalty 100%.

When i first saw the news earlier this morning it really put a smile on my face. Keeping roots, tradition and ties with history always brings joy and sense of belonging, which human being craves the most. By the smile on his face, that is exactly what Theo feels.
Very happy for him and the club! He still needs to make up for more than few of goals that he scored against Saints playing for both Arsenal and Everton, though... Just kidding, all the best Saints Child 😇 😊

Wasn't to keen for him to come back at first, he had the chance to 2 years ago but went to Everton for money. But seeing him here, he seems to have a genuine love for the club, and I for one can't wait to see what he can do for us.

No matter what he sounds like a very grateful person perhaps he can replicate half of what Danny Ings has done.
Most players that saints bring on loan recently sign a permanent deal with the club like Danny Ings and Walker Peters so maybe Theo will become a full on Southampton player.

I'd like to think so but you really reckon we could afford his wages as a full player? Yes it would be on a free but I cant see the board paying 100k a week for a player in their 30s regardless of sentiment.

Was disappointed when you left for Arsenal, But at that age who can argue about being tempted for the money, I always thought you left a few years too soon. Can't help but agree. I love Theo but this is poor business from us. One knock and he will be out for the rest of the season, his crossing ability is still lacking (considering the length of time he was at Arsenal it never reach the level it should be) and he has lost a few yards of pace. He's still quick but nothing we couldn't get from an upcoming youngster.

Mario Lemina can play in every top team of top league in Europe and in England but Ralph can not think about it.
Josh Sims and Jake Hesketh better than Theo Walcott and Nathan Redmond but Ralph can not think about it.
Harrison Reed and Kayne Ramsey can play Right Back better than Yan Valery and Kyle Walker Peters but Ralph can not think about it.
William Smallbone has weak skills but Ralf can not think about it.
