I wish more people were enthusiastic like those Vietnamese girls. This restores some faith in people. Not the indifference and coldness and reservedness of people.
I really appreciate you uploading this man, especially since you went through the trouble of adding captions. I'm not even learning those languages (yet) but it's just so entertaining to see people's reactions when you speak their language.
Don't think - feeeeel…. that was an INCREDIBLE L.U.! 1) Eye candy…cute ass girls; 2) Good conversation 3) Several languages. Thanks bro. We all appreciate your time and effort.
When I think of my favorite Level-Up videos this one comes to mind. This was the one that made me think I need to start doing this and not just watching this (when it came to speaking Spanish). Just to see everyone and amazed and joyous at just meeting Laoshu and seeing how talented he and positive he was makes this among his best vids. For the future folks who come to watch this, behold the legend... Now I need to find my very favorite one where he goes to the restaurant and they have him speaking like 4 or 5 languages at the same time.
Industrial Desire? Lol, that had to be Industrial Design, right? Otherwise that's one weird ass study ;) Awesome vid tho' love these real world practice vids!
Definitely one of your best level-up episodes. And it was only half an hour too! I reckon busy places like this make for better reactions, cause of the group setting and all. Hence more entertaining for us to watch. Should do it more often! ;)
It is a lot more about consistency than how much time you put in it, I'm barely a hyperpolyglot(13 languages); so I'm nowhere near moses. However I accomplished it by using the languages consistently. It helps a little that I live in the tourist trap Orlando, FL #DisneyLevelUp; but I mostly use skype anyways. Make a lot of friends and speak to them in their languages on a daily basis, that alone can replace hours of study from a book. Moses is quite far beyond a hyperpolyglot though, to be like him would take 5-7 hours a day o_O.
You're crazy man! Hearing you speak Cantonese makes me want to learn it so much. Bruce Lee is my idol too! But I must first focus on French and Japanese!
Bruh! You wow me and push me even harder to become proficient in French every time I press play on these level-up episodes. These videos are very entertaining to me. And, I appreciate the subtitles...I know they're a bitch to implement in the vid. Keep up the good work! laoshu505000
Marcell is like the opposite of a wingman LOL Marcell - Did all y'all get out of that one corolla? I saw like 10 of y'all get out! Y'all are crazy!' Moses - Are you guys Vietnamese? Girls - How could you tell? That's good! Marcell - HEY HEY HEY!!! Who Speak it!!? Y'all Speak it!!? I'm not hating just found it funny.
laoshu505000 I just think it's hilarious that TH-cam is offering the option to translate 'Dat Daigo...' to 'That Daigo ...' - thanks TH-cam, always on top of the important shit!
lol not only did you say it but you even transcribed his major as "industrial desire." I don't know why i found this to be the most hilarious part of the video.
Hello Moses thank you for learning to speak Tagalog. It is seldom that I see foreigners learning my language so SALAMAT!:) Lagi kong pinapanuod ang mga videos mo, hindi mo lang alam gaano na iinspire ang mga tao sayo. Salamat sobra!
that was dope haha mind fucked and all I thought you were gonna say あけおめ in slang or あなたは幸せになりますように and おもろいis also kansai dialect lol you did greatttt
Awsome, will there ever be subtitles for the conversations? Also can you do english level ups? It would definetly help out, I'm trying to graspsome type of foundation to go about conversations with people. Like how to not come of as an interregator or being too personal but what's appropriate in social settings.
Your videos inspired me to learn mandarin. In Puerto Rico is easier to find native speakers just like Cantonese native speakers. Arabic, Tagalog is a bit harder to find native speakers.
Exactly, but in most of the caribbean you will find chinese natives being mainland or cantonese. For example Oranjestad, Aruba most of the grocery stores are chinese owned and the bars. Trinidad and Tobago has a very strong chinese community. Puerto Rico has the typical chinese restaurant that sells egg fu young, and the real cantonese restaurant that sells sui mai and chicken feet.
That's pretty interesting, though I'm actually not too surprised because Chinese are pretty much everywhere haha...Especially the people from Hong Kong and Guandgong. Are you Puerto Rican? Tell me about Puerto Rico, it's demographics. How is it living there do you like it? Let me tell you about Mexico I'm Mexican, and well I can say that Mexico is mostly Spanish. If you come down to the southern Mexico, you'll see tons of dialects and indigenous languages spoken there. But I was talking about presence of foreign languages there. The foreign language that is most popular and has the largest presence is English for many obvious reasons haha. But though it's growing especially among the youth, it's not spoken too much. Yes in Major cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puebla, and also northern mexican cities especially Monterrey and Tijuana, Cd. Juarez will have lots of English....After English, I think probably either French or German would be at a distant 2nd or 3rd. I think that Asian languages are kinda gaining some popularity such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Yes, in Mexico there used to be very very large pockets of Chinese communities, especially like Tijuana, Mexicali, the Mexican state of Sinaloa and Chihuahua, also Sonora, also south in Chiapas, the Yucatan Peninsula too, but I think that in the times of Porfirio Diaz, he killed and deported many Chinese...Chinese people I heard pretty much built and founded the city of Mexicali. Japanese there are like around 3,000 Japanese, a smaller but growing Korean community, a pretty large Lebanese community (400,000). German Menonites especially in Chihuahua and Durango, and also I believe that Monterrey was founded by Jews, and also the neighborhood of Polanco in Mexico City.
oh yeah, I went off track, but I believe the latin American countries with the largest Asian populations probably have to be Brazil, Peru and Panama. In numbers it is Brazil by far, but Percentagewise, Peru wins. Peru had a Japanese President Alberto Fujimori. I heard Panama City has TONS of Chinese, Indians, Koreans and other asians too.
oh and one last thing, most of the people of other countries in Mexico would be concentrated in the Major Cities, the vast majority in Mexico City. So if you wanna go see Americans, Canadians, Spaniards Chinese, Jews, Germans, Poles, Russians, Japanese, Koreans, South and Central Americans, Guineans, Nigerians, etc...go to Mexico City or Tijuana.., it's not Chicago, it's not LA, NYC, Toronto, London, but it can be diverse if you look for it.
17:41 When Marcell says he is thirty years old in Mandarin, he says something that sounds a lot like "san juu" in Japanese. That's kinda cool, I didn't realize this relation between the languages before (if I am indeed getting it right).
Lol you keep saying "Me" instead of "toi"? hahaha. sounds funny. also those girls keep saying your accent is southern, but they're 100% lying or they don't know what they're talking about. it doesn't sound like southern accent at all.
Maybe tell your student to be more reserved, him yelling: "Yo, more Chinese people just walked in, let's get them!" can be interpreted in a different way.
You need a go fund me page so all of your fans can finance a overseas trip for you. Hit Japan, Taiwan, China and South Korea on the mouse tour. Document and upload my brother!
I get the feeling that if Moses weren't married most of these videos would be posted on RedTube.

Lol that cracked me up, im surprised no one commented on it.

LOL! Teaching the Vietnamese girl the difference between northern and southern dialects. Pwahahahah

Me too! I said "Hola".
I really appreciate you uploading this man, especially since you went through the trouble of adding captions. I'm not even learning those languages (yet) but it's just so entertaining to see people's reactions when you speak their language.
No problem. Thanks for viewing.
I agree, the reactions are priceless, haha
"are you muslim, brother?"/Somali = "you like asian chicks, huh?"/Chinese
it's a pattern I've noticed.

Lmao and he couldn’t even get the basics lol
He is the laziest motherfucker i have ever seen.. so lazy not even learning 1 sentence a day and in 6 -10 later 2day he would have been fluent

you sir are awesome. just started learning Chinese(mandarin), and now looking into learning Cantonese and Korean. love the work and videos you do.
16 minutes in, and I have a permanent smile plastered to my face. How many hours should one study a day to become a hyperpolyglot? 5-7?
It is a lot more about consistency than how much time you put in it, I'm barely a hyperpolyglot(13 languages); so I'm nowhere near moses.
