HOW TO REPLACE A MIG WELDER HOSE & GUN ASSEMBLY

So the welder gun got mig wire stuck in it & I couldn't get it out. The welder is about 17 years old, so the gun & hose was due to be replaced. Welder works like new again!

How is the new stinger holding up after a year or so?

funny you should ask- it worked great for a long time, then a month or two ago the wire was coming out of the casing & snarling, instead of coming out like normal to weld with. VERY FRUSTRATING.
I have to buy another one; will probably buy an OEM replacement & be done with it.

@@Smittyschannel The liner is clogged up with metal dust from the wire. you could blow it out or just install a new liner. I have a 35-year-old Airco Dip/ Stick machine and can't find parts. so, I'll be converting it to the newer Euro stile gun. Thanks for the video.
