Restoring a 1970 CT70 K0 (gold) and there's slight play/noise in the steering when you hold the front brake and apply forward/reverse pressure. (i can see a very, VERY, slight movement at the top neck, will check to see if top race is tight when I disassemble) My question is if I replace upper/lower bearings is it necessary to replace the races at the same time or can the bearings be replaced/repacked just by themselves? Not looking forward to pounding out races... Thanks for your time and videos they're greatly appreciated! =)
Do you think the CT70 K0 forks are ok for an adult rider who is 215lb? I saw that Trail Buddy makes and oil dampened fork that goes on an looks stock. I wonder if for someone my weight it would be a needed upgrade. Thanks!
Thank you for the great video. I have been stuck on this assembly for a few days now and this video gives me all the answers.

Yes I do believe the standard OEM forks on a CT70 is OK for a man of your weight
