Thanks, Dude, got my hands on another Dirt bike, so going to get it running over the next few weeks.
And start getting back outside again, lock down totally done my head in.
And some motocross is the perfect way to get motivated lol
      👍👍👍

I tried the Leatt Dual Axis, but they really hurt my legs if I was kneeling down (eg working on the bike with myself at ground level, such as checking tyre pressure). This was because of the point of contact with the shape of the Leatt knee guard creating a sharp contact point against my lower leg (probably not good in a fall either). I shall give consideration to the Acerbis, which are also cheaper than the Leatt D.A. guards.

Very comfortable especially when kneeling, and when riding you don't even know they are there.
      Cheapness is a bonus.

@@oraclescave Thank you kindly for the feedback. Comfort is important and sadly I was rather disappointed in the Leatt Dual Axis guards, especially for the asking price they are. By the way, do the Acerbis guards make your legs sweaty? (maybe not a problem in your part of the world).

@Jonathan L I never wore them under my trousers, I've always only worn on the outside.
And yes the leatt ones look very cool, must have been designed on a computer rather than from rider feedback, look cool but could possibly cause more injuries than they protect from.
I also thought price would be a factor because of extreme testing.
But looks like looking cool is the leading factor.

@@oraclescave Yes, I agree ... the Leatt guards are not made for comfort. What's scary is the intensity of the pressure point when kneeling ... bound to cause an injury in itself.

how are they after a few months? what did you do to stop them slipping off?

I just pulled the straps extra snug, no overly tight.
And then used a sewing needle to put a few stitches into the straps to hold them at the perfect spot.
Very rarely need to mess with them anymore at all.
Really are great for the monet, I have heard the leatt set are very uncomfortable and borderline dangerous so I'm glad I never chose them.

@@oraclescave you could just strap from other side, so extension is on inside. Works good!

@MusicMath123 no because gripping the bike on the inside of your leg could unclip the knee protectors.

@@oraclescaveI want these for motocross are they okay for gripping the bike nice and tight? Or do they cause problems

@NorthWalesOutdoors not super grippy but that could be fixed if you glue a rubber patch on, but otherwise awesome guards, very comfy and don't notice them there

@MusicMath123 fits good, bends good with a lot of comfort you barely notice its on, very bottom goes inside boot with no aches or pains.
I still wear them, infact I went out just one day without them and got a bad 3rd degree burn across my right knee with a 450 bike landing on me.
Took weeks to heal, very painful, will never ride without it again.
Had multiple falls wearing them and they have barely scratched, never broken.
I would absolutely buy these again 100%

I got these too. They’re good, just really disappointing that they’re made in China. I’d be happy to pay a little more for made in Italy 🇮🇹
