​@@Devyn6Sevenno, not really, they can be held off just like any other plane (several hundred hours in a M20). Try pulling the power to idle right before the start of the runway goes under the plane next time.

@@FlyingNDriving I appreciate your advice. However, I didn't do that because I wanted to make the runway and not touch down in the farm before the runway.
