There’s a crisp hint of Autumn in the air when a young Adele Brise first catches sight of the mysterious figure. It’s October 1859. Adele carries her bag of wheat toward the grist mill, in a wooded patch of Northern Wisconsin, when she freezes, frightened. There, between a hemlock and maple tree stands a beautiful woman clothed in dazzling white, wearing a yellow sash and crown of stars atop her flowing golden hair, until...she’s gone. The vision of the woman fades, and Adele all alone, continues on her way. A second encounter with the mystery woman a few days later is just as startling, compounded by the fact this figure doesn’t say a word.
On counsel from a priest, Adele is prepared for her next encounter and says to the figure: In God’s name who are you and what do you want from me?
I am the Queen of Heaven, who prays for the conversion of sinners, the woman says, and I wish you to do the same.
The Queen of Heaven-the Blessed Virgin Mary-proceeds to explain to Adele what she’s being called to do: teach the children of this wild country what they should know for their salvation, while also encouraging Adele, that she’s not going to have to do it alone.

I was getting a divorce a year ago, feeling extremely depressed. When I woke up one morning and I had to go to Champion, within a week I was on my way. So glad I went, our Mother healed me, emotionally and spiritually, I'll try to describe what happened to me, my heart felt as if it was being washed over, like a waterfall had opened up in my chest and washed away all depression, anxiety and doubt. I strongly encourage everyone to go, its worth it.

I visited this Shrine right after I became Catholic, and then again with a friend last year. Both times had supernatural spiritual blessings at this place. It is very special and can't wait to come back again.

I joined the Church in June of 2020 and visited the Shrine 2 months ago. Best experience of my life. I never felt the divine presence to that degree anywhere else I’ve been and I even think my Confirmation Saint (St Francis of Assisi) tried to communicate with me when I stood in front of his statue. And I traveled all the way from Atlanta, GA to go to he Shrine. Not trying to brag. Just stating the facts. I hope all of my friends get a chance to go as well. Nowhere I’ve ever been before or after compares to the Shrine

Yes, this apparition is thoroughly researched & thoroughly approved by the local bishop, Bishop David Ricken.
I've been there many times & went on one of the pilgrimage walks. The 3 shrines in Wisconsin are very beautiful, Holy Hill of the Carmelites, in Harte Wi, the magnificent shrine of Guadalupe in Lacrosse built by bishop Raymond Burke & this lowly shrine at the base of the beautiful Door co. peninsula. People like to make pilgrimages visiting all 3 in Wisconsin

Just watched EWTN mass this morning 1/14/2023 and listened to Fr Joseph Aytona C.P.M, of Our Lady of Good Help. He has been a great guest Priest on EWTN all week and as he spoke on The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help my husband and I decided we will go on pilgrimage this year. I found this podcast as we plan the trip...wonderful talk.

My cousin and I just returned to New York from a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Champion Shrine. Words are insufficient to describe the peace and sacredness of the whole area. We stayed in GreenBay for a week and spent every day at the Shrine every day. Mass, adoration and Divine Mercy prayer daily was very spiritually uplifting. And we very surprised to have been there July 5th 2023 for the 125 the anniversary of the death of the visionary Adele Marie! That was an enormous but pleasant surprise since we knew very very little about her and Our Lady of Champion. I promise to make you more know Mother, in my little way. Our Lady of Champion pray for us.

Not discounting the faithful in that Church,

Mother Mary appeared on orthodox church in Egypt in 1962 for a whole year do some google and photos of her were taken
Hi there! It's true there is a lot of attention in the Coptic church especially to Our Lady of Zeitoun (or Our Lady of Light.) I can't find Vatican statement on it, fyi, so Catholics should be aware of that. The numbers 3 & 12 connection which might interest you and promote further discussion. I watched a few additional programs on some other media platforms on this Shrine and noticed that no-one has made a connection between the number of apparitions (3) provided to this Belgian /US nun - Adele Brise in 1859 and the fire that occurred exactly 12 years later in 1871. The coincidences are a bit uncanny. '3' being a sacred number and often repeated in the New Testament (eg. 3 Wise Men; Holy Trinity; the number of years of Christ's mission; the number of days Christ, as an adolescent (12 years) spent away from his parents (3 days) speaking and listening with the Jewish teachers etc; rose from the dead after 3 days). 12 as a number - eg. 12 tribes of Israel; 12 stars around the Virgin Mary's head; 12 apostles etc. In my mind, this confirms for me EVEN MORE of the validity of the Our Lady of Champion Shrine.

Also, there was a fire threatening my former place where I resided in the '90's in Basalt, CO. There was a fire there in 2018. I prayed to Our Lady of Good Help to protect the people of Basalt, and the fire stopped right at the trailer park where many Mexican immigrants live. It was a miracle the fire didn't consume them. I believe Our Lady of Good Help intervened for them!

That's not quite correct regarding Fatima especially, because although given privately, it was addressed to everyone, said Fr. Nicholas Gruner. And he said, being approved by the Church, the Bible tells us to heed Approved prophecy. "Extinguish not the spirit. Despise not prophecy. Prove all things. Hold fast to that which is good. "- 1 Thess. 5:19-21. Fr. Gruner explains that Fatima was a prophetic revelation, approved by the Church, and we are not to despise it but hold fast to it. So yes, we do have to believe in Fatima. Pope John Paul said the message of Fatima was addressed to every human being.

That revelation is binding on the entire Church throughout all its history. It is thus sometimes called public revelation because it is directed to everyone in the Church.
Private revelation by contrast is directed to a narrower audience. Hi Kathleen! I don't believe so. I believe she's buried on the grounds, and I'm not aware of a recent exhumation. I can't say definitively, though!
