Vertx Commuter Sling Review: Is it the perfect truck bag?!

After having the Vertx Commuter Sling for three months and taking it for several adventures here are my thoughts on it. The bag was purchased with the sole purpose of transporting my Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT. Please watch to the end to hear one of my favorite quotes by Jordan B Peterson.

How heavy is this configuration / load out? Would you weigh yourself with and without the pack, to be accurate? I know it is subjective, but I'm curious how much weight is too much with a sling bag (one shoulder only). Thanks.

You’re in luck because I just so happened to have it set up exactly how I did in that video, I’ll call it 21 lbs. Which isn’t terrible for short outings but when I’m out for long periods of time of hiking for hours it’s much more comfortable in my Gamut backpack than the commuter sling.

@RagnarokConcepts ok, yeah that's quite a bit, I recently got the Vertx Transit sling bag and it's at 10 lbs right now, which is pretty tolerable so far, although I don't have an SBR in there, just trauma gear and comfort/convenience items. Thanks man!

What size is your SBR? Mine, Folding the stock is 22in. Would it fit?

My Rattler comes in at just 17.5 inches with only a few inches left, 22 probably wouldn’t fit, but their Gamut back pack fits bigger
