      Agreed, although he does much better when it's less of a promotional gig and more of a spontaneous one. Papi sounded exhausted. Steve was waiting for something to come from him he could draw on, but had to keep resorting to the backup questions.

      This was sent out on Twitter by the Boston Globe newspaper TWO MINUTES BEFORE the first magician's smoke bomb went off at the finish line.

    Ortiz should thank the Twins for letting him go to Red Sox. He would have never stayed healthy playing in the Metrodome. He was always hurt when he was with the Twins.

    • @kzbay1685
      @kzbay1685 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right, the Sox wouldn't have won any World series without him. Ped's helped with one of those rings though...people seem to forget about that.

      I am not willing to write-off a player's entire career because they tested positive.

    • @kzbay1685
      @kzbay1685 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're pulling me away from my main point which is that he was very resentful for the Twins letting him go when he should be thanking God for for it turning out the way it did because he would never have reached HOF level play, playing in the Metrodome. His body couldn't take the astroturf, his body could barely handle playing in Boston. That's why he used PED's. You can excuse him for the PED use all you want. He's a nice guy. That's why he was forgiven for using PEDs and others like Clemens and Bonds are not forgiven, they are assholes, Ortiz had far more charm, and he helped win some titles. Boston fans will always look the other way for a trophy. *cough...patriots* :)
