Something I liked about this tank is that it does not actually have gold ammo - it has 3 types of standard ammo. Its APCR does not have inflated costs if I remember it correctly, despite having increased pen and increased shell velocity.
Respectfully I disagree. And there’s a Very specific reason why: At first the idea seems great. But it would actually just buff heavies, and make them even more dominant than they already are. Remember heavies have armor & decent guns that don’t need gold to shoot at meds, TD’s or lights. If you made gold do less damage, you would effectively ALWAYS lose the dpm fight vs anything with armor. Because you would be doing less dmg to them (by firing gold) vs them to penning you with higher dmg standard rounds. Mind you, you also have less HP. It would be a double disadvantage. I like the essence of rebalancing the gold rounds, but really what we need is the reintroduction of weak spots again. Too many tanks “force” you to shoot gold rather than having weak spots that reward skill and careful aim.
@@Tankers4Change I agree with your statement 100%, but your reasoning is due to an entirely different problem which has been a problem for a very long time. Heavies are faster, better hull-down and harder to flank than they were long ago with less weak spots if any. Unless you’re playing a heavy, it’s not your responsibility to counter them, it’s your heavies that should be doing that. In a perfect world they’d fix both these problems but Wargaming won’t address either one. So ultimately you just need to get better at angles and get side plates. That whole issue you’re talking about is what causes those roflstomps too…Even TDs can counter these ridiculous hull-down tanks.
The first third of the clip is really accurate, I do half/half, seems to be the sweet spot. You're right, the small caliber doesn't affect the bushes as a big gun.
I flanked along with a good player driving this tank on Ghost Town. Very effective but he had a hard time getting to cover and after that couldn't press further due to the low armor. I want to try it but I have so many other lights.
Hey man, I really like you content and how clean your mods are. If you can please share how you have "Avg. Damage" and "High Caliber" below the hp box.
@@MichaelG-j3p You’ll significantly lower your dpm by doing so though. Unless I’m having an ammo shortage or I know for certain I won’t have anything else to shoot at for a while, I will unload the whole magazine. I always do as much damage as I can when given the opportunity and that is what has helped me win more games.
@WoTWhirls My thoughts are that by tracking you probably will get more assistance. The tracking shots should be at short to medium range. At those ranges, you should get more hits and damage. It looks like a passive scout in the beginning and then later a support tank by flanking and ambushing by surprise.
@@MichaelG-j3p Really just depends how you play it I guess. I basically play all my lights the same. If you stay alive you can do damage at the end regardless but with this the burst damage is very nice.
@@WoTWhirls If you play them a bit for their gun, it opens up various game play in LT's. Not talking about the stay alive part. I have put myself in positions to handle, 'what do I do if' and learned somethings doing so. Found myself and another MED holding a corner against a few HVY's. That gun, if done right, would be great at doing so. I doubt I'll ever play these LT's, I enjoy my T5 Leo too much. I would check into the Pentation (not sure what it's called, loader I think) skill and Deadeye. I have heard that loader skill doesn't help much, I still would give it a go. I know I put a hurting on Equipment and crew with a close up burst. Like where you finished the last guy off in the video. If you benefit from PEN and Deadey, I wouldn't leave the garage without it.

I like this gold ammo idea, sacrificing dmg for pen. They should do it for all tanks: decrease gold dmg by amount of pen above regular ammo in % 😊
@@edmund22 I agree, I think it would be better for the game overall.

I would suggest not firing for so long. Do short bursts to track and more short bursts to track over and over.
