Thai you for the clarification! Do you now if there is a way to have a schilke 29 mouthpiece with an european taper? I am now using a trasparent paper and the improvement is noticeble, but i am looking for a more definitive solution.

@@derekjustinwright How much of a compromise is the combo receiver? Would an amateur really ever notice the compromise? Would it be worth replacing the receiver (or whole lead pipe)?
I am about to buy a new mouthpiece and have a choice of Morse or European to go with my Yamaha 671. Which would be better, or would it not matter? Is the compatibility of the Morse worth more than any potential difference?
