I had a person on LEtGo argue with me about "cash".
They insisted that sending me money on Cash app was the same as CA$H in hand... No... because they tax it... AND you pay cash app a fee. "well that's no big deal" they said... I replied... "Maybe not to you, but you can't advertise an offer as a CASH offer if you are processing electronically"... People just don't understand or care.

95% of ALL electric meters are so called SMART meters AND can be shut off by the electric company anytime they wish!!!!!!!
It's a good thing I know how to bypass the meter. If they ever did that I would just bypass the meter no issues. My hydrometers inside my residence. so no one would even know I was tampering with it. No one can control me only people like yourself

I live in Alberta Canada the Beef Capital of Canada And I can not buy a steak that use to cost $5 to $7 dollars just 2 years ago but today same peice of Steak cost $25 to $35 dollars Deepens where you shop. Going to a local farm Elk or Bison or Cow I can get a whole Animal for $250

What Dan says about utility companies controlling your thermostat is true. We just moved from the Dallas area and were regularly pursued to let them control my smart thermostat on hot days. They would give a discount and they required your permission for this intrusion. I control my thermostat and declined their offers.

This is why you don't use the newer thermostats. I deliberately chose a basic thermostat that can't be controlled. You have get up, walk over and physically change it.
They can control the power meter. Unless you have every power back up solution you can conceive in your basement then they can still cut you off/run you out of fuel.

Look, I’m a believer in nutrition and some supplements, but it doesn’t necessarily guarantee anything. I knew a husband/wife team in SoCal years ago where the husband was a Dr and the wife a therapist. They had a wellness business. They had strict nutritional standards. But the Dr husband died of cancer in his forties. So there are no guarantees with what one eats or supplements.

The objective in discouraging the consumption of fatty meat is to keep us fat, dumb and sick. The brain is made up of cholesterol and works best on ketones, while the entire nervous system is protected by a myelin sheath - i.e. cholesterol; our hormones are made using cholesterol (low testosterone anyone?) So, while metabolic orders and obesity increase, the food and drug companies get richer - our brains are being deprived of essential nutrients, our metabolism is crashing, and our bodies are overweight, arthritic, stiff, with IBS or chronic constipation. Yes, I'm a carnivore . . . my only regret is that I didn't learn of this a few decades ago!
I know this couple whose wife have the fan on and windows opened in the middle of winter. She claims she started having hot flashes when she went through the change and it never went away…she’s in her 70’s now. We laugh about it all the time because her poor husband would be freezing with layers of clothes and covers.

How does a bank know what you purchase at the grocery store? When you swipe your card, the card company only gets the name of the business, and the amount being charged. It does not receive an itemized list of what was purchased. There must be more to this.
No, only you get the name of the business. The extra data, such as your itemized purchases also goes into the data base and their computers filter through it compile a data base on you.
I went through two electronic thermostats in quick succession before I went back to the electro-mechanical one with a thermo-sensitive metal spring and mercury bulb switch. Its been working great for over 20 years. It has an 'off' switch that disconnects the electric signal and I keep it off unless I want to heat/cool my place (rarely). It has to get above 85F or below 65F before I'll turn it on.

My wife is a vegetarian, but I hunt/fish/trap for all of my meat needs. We have not bought meat (except a pack of sliced turkey for the grandson a few times a year) in years.
Mostly carnivore here. It got me down to normal weight and BP. No meds. Lots of energy. Grass fed and organic. All the vegetarians and vegans I know are overweight, sick and on meds and have bellies. The only meat I don't eat is zee bugz. The people running that bank need to be fitted with cement sneakers

We ignored it, and now reading the fine print it says, " if you prefer, that we don't enable your eligible card, please call us using the number printed on the back of your debit or credit card. In another word, that sounds as if it's automatic and you have to opt out!
