I have been KSA’s fan since 1968. My late uncle, Chief John Aderibigbe with whom I was living at the back of LUTH was KSA’s close friend and he would not buy any other records but KSA’s records. I started playing music by joining Merry Boys Ochestra and later with S. M. Esuola and His Sunshine Juju Band but neither was playing KSA style. I formed my little band at Obaseeku High School, Eruwa. We were playing KSA’s style. Up till now, KSA remains my main musician. He is a bundle of talents, charming and friendly.
This life music in the 80's to late 90's always make me to cast my mind back to those days when we leave together in the extended family house. Those were the happiest days of my life as a kid.
Nice post from the legend's stables. Pls correct the error in your title of the post. Alhaji Bode Oshinusi is NOT Olokodana. Alhaji Kolawole Olokodana is a different socialite.
The beauty of this is that as KSA sings, he dances to his music. That alone is enough to watch. His dancing steps always intrigues me. I always amuse myself trying to do his dancing steps. I remember that day when we were celebrating end of year party with our parents, all the extended family, and friends were present. When it was time for dancing competition, I won the price simply because I was dancing like KSA the way I watched him dance on NTA channel 4 then. Infact that day, our parents could not hold their surprise. It was as if they were watching KSA dancing.
Thanks very much for this evergreen oldies. Please kindly load more of these golden oldies. ❤
