Longneck's sacrifice left me gutted. It was sweet that he was pretty much the only goose that believed in Brightbill, and it took his death for the other geese to realize and acknowledge Brightbill as one of their own. But it was still sad to see that.
Someone suggested an animal-derived plague might have occurred? But like……yeah. In the history of ever, animals interacting with crops have enriched the soil and made them healthier!!
I’m a world building fan, and to the see the subtle work they did to show the audience the setting of this film was great! Landmarks, like the Golden Gate Bridge, underwater imply sea levels rising and the high tech communities are the last holdouts for mankind. Can’t wait to see more insight into human life in the next film!
well, animals can be an issue for the crops by eating them or contaminating them. Plus, these geese are strong enough to seriously damage glass canopies by bumping into them and when in a flock they can mess up the navigation of the farming equipment, so chasing them away at least makes sense since they can cause quite a bit of damage. Deploying a combat robot thats completely ill-suited for the task is gross overkill though

2:54 "There's nothing I can do that you can't." My favorite line and moment from Brightbill ❤
It's sad that that far in the future, people freak out just seeing birds like, we're that disconnected from nature seriously?!
messed up
Maybe they were worried the geese would eat or poison their food?
@rainbowhawk911 well yeah but they could be more gentle
Fr when I first saw this scene I was like "BRO CHILL THOSE ARE JUST BIRDS"

The creators actually that Humanity lives a society that's more Utopian than Dystopian which is nice to see in a film
Longneck may have been killed but he made a great sacrifice. He truly a pure hearted goose.
The Wild Robot >The Boy and The Heron by Studio Ghibli.

So the Golden Gate Bridge remained unrepaired after Susan defeated the Giant Robot in Monsters vs Aliens. That's funny.
Looks like futuristic version of "The Animals of Farthing Wood".
Its just a bird jeez people
This movie kinda reminds me of Studio Ghibli
Cool
Task aquired!
Task Aquired
0:01 those ones aren't flying forward they are just flying in place
The fact that the Geese passed the very large array and the Golden Gate Bridge imply that the futuristic city is located in Mexico or Latin America
Wow longneck you did it
This future isn't so sad. At least there are still some whales around.
How do you avoid copyright clam because I am the one on the list so please share
How could anyone see birds as contaminated? In the future are they so dependent on robots that they forgot how nature helps us survive?
I am Rozzum 2763.( That's a battle for dream island reference)
fun fact: roz's manufacturer, universal dynamics, does not exist in the alternate version, instead, barbie created it
I didn't think they see animals as a threat
