i actually like rodimus prime. sure, optimus was better but rodimus was still a great leader. plus when optimus came back to life rodimus gave him back the matrix (i think.). great vid

However, now that there are ultra Magnus figures that also transform into Optimus prime when you remove his gear, the cab front opens up to place the matrix in there, you can also place it inside of his belt so at least the recent ultra Magnus figures are finally reflective of the fact that the true second owner of the matrix was originally supposed to be ultra Magnus !!!

I have a very large G1 collection of over 150 Transformers. That’s not counting the duplicates. What I mean by duplicates is that I have two Metroplex’s and two Wheelies and two Star Screams and so on. If you count the duplicates I have well over 200 G1s. I have all of the 1984 & 1985 series. Of the 1986 series I have 48 Transformers. The 1986 series has 55 Transformers. So I’m 7 shy of the complete first 3 series. I have 14 from the 4th series and 7 from the 5th series and only two from the 6th series. I don’t like Rodimus Prime because I am biased towards Optimus Prime. However, I just got Rodimus to add to my collection. Not because I like the guy but because my goal is to complete my 3rd series collection. What’s now missing for my 3rd series collection is: Sky Lynx Springer Gnaw Galvatron Ratbat Octane Cyclonus* *I already bought Cyclonus. I’m waiting for him to come in the mail.
