I really hope that someone showed him what he is doing wrong and that he listened. He actually has great potential, but he is going to destroy his health that way.
One is enough. I've seen one at my gym do the leg press plate overload 1" reps before and he vacuums up all the 45lb plates (like 30-40 of them). I didn't have the heart to tell him that his 1" ego lift wasn't even the plate total (the leg press was 45deg).
Perhaps a bit harsh but his form was good. He did his reps. I don't see the issue. I'd have to say this clip was included by someone who does not deadlift. Sets of 4-8 in deadlift is typical. Deadlift is just a rough lift overall and looks way worse than it is.
“Train insane or remain the same, but this guy trains insane and remains the same.” “The weight dropped hard, but his iq dropped even harder.” “He started from the bottom and he is still there.” “He is not strengthening his leg muscle ; he is strengthening his community and their overall friendship”
If someone actually ask the first guy why is he still so out of shape despite lifting such “monstrous” weights all the time, a standard reply will probably be something like “I don’t care about muscles, I only care about being STRONG” 😁
well there are a lot of strong people with that much weight on them. they lift to grow strong, not to lose weight. so they eat up a lot of calories to maintain their weight
Here in Brazil people complain that we don't have as many gyms as good as in the US, but I'm glad that here gyms are required to have professional physical education instructors, because I don't know what I would do if I saw clowns doing that kind of shit at my gym.
The thing I miss most about being a personal trainer is having these people come in with all the confidence, neigh, arrogance in the world to do the stupidest stuff. They all had nicknames with the staff, it was glorious
"He never skips teeth day" - and that's spot on! And who can't chuckle at pumpkin spice latte dude - someone should tell him: don't drop the weights, they deserve some respect (unlike him).
I hope you're joking. His damaging his spinal with that deadly form. Support belt is a must with the amount of weight his lifting but I guess Mr Iron man thinks he's e doesn't need one🙄.
@@blessings515the bounce off the ground and hyperextension at the top are the real problems. Still, I’ve seen muuuuch worse. And no, belts are not “required” for a specific weight.
Those deadlifts were actually good!!!! His form puts his back at risk though lol.... but if he takes off 2 plates, he can probably rep out 3-4 sets of 6-8 starting off the floor!!!!
The 3:10 was actually ok. Of course, he bent his spine, but when you see world class powerlifters, they bend their spine to some degree (but preferentially their thoracic spine)
he was screaming the whole time to draw everyone's attention to him. The execution was good, but the guy is a moron, it's annoying to work out around people who make a lot of noise for no reason at all
2:41 I worked at that gym for 5 years. Used to tell that kid all the time to chill with the dropping weights. Somewhere out there is a video of him using a leg press....I'll let everyone use their imagination for that one 😳😂🤣

"Seems to be alright" Absolutely not! No hinge, rounded back, bouncing off the floor, no eccentric control, no full lock out. He will be lucky if he is not incontinent in a year from bulging, herniated and slipped disks. This is a case of an ego being higher than the IQ.
The last two guys actually did more than the guys in the rest of the video. Guy doing shrugs just needs to lower the weight a little and stop jerking it up but his traps were still activated slightly and the last guy doing deadlifts wasn’t even hat bad at all, I’ve seen guys that were actual power lifters and not ego lifters do them the same way, he was still strong.

Yea that guy is strong af even if he's bouncing the weight, no question about it.
He'll have a massive gain alright..... in the form of a hernia.

Was that 695 or are those coated plates? Regardless, he's mighty strong.
Thanks to this channel, every time I see someone doing half reps or less at the gym I instantly thing “give me baby reps”
😅😅
I do pulses when I squat and I can squat twice my bodyweight...half reps =/= bad all the time
@@nathandiaz3446 pulses at the bottom of your squat =/= baby reps, bro.
Now all I can think about is ronnie coleman half-assing some reps while shouting "heavy weight baby"!
Can you imagine a gym full of ego lifters (like 10) and how many 45lb plates would be needed.
If there were only 10 ego lifters in one gym then 9 would be standing around waiting for the weights.
Nothing gets re-racked
I feel like they'd all do the same lifts trying to one up each other
