I feel like the reason so many of us love Figment is still nostalgia for the old ride. This new ride is objectively not great - but the sense of VICTORY we felt when they listened to complaints and brought Figment back from retirement was next level.
Lord have Legit Mercy that was a great Vlog. You have sealed my determination to stay at The Contemporary with my husband because we would both love it so much. Figment is one of my favourites just because it’s fun and silly and has Monty Python touches of humour! It’s a classic and let’s face it you never have to queue long so that’s a bonus!
Loved your reaction after you got off Guardians. I was exactly the same. I loved it. The song i got was "September" by Earth, Wind snd Fire. It would be great to try it multiple times to hear the different songs (6 songs). Was able to get a virtual queue at 1pm and was called at 2.30pm. Possibly one of my favourite rides at WDW. Flight of Passage is one of my other favourites too 😀

Hey Sam! Just a heads up for future visits, the estimated call back time for virtual ques are rarely if ever accurate. Typically they go through those lines fast and call back groups together. So group 50-100 could be called back to back right away. It would’ve still been a wait for you, but more so 2-3 hours rather than 7-8 hours. If that make sense 😅
I’ve never seen anyone stay in the Contemporary main tower! Looking forward to the room and resort tour. Did you like that resort? Would you stay there again? Would you recommend it? AWESOME vlog as usual. I just love your content! ~ Inge 😺
Thanks so much, Inge! I absolutely loved the convenience of it - being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom and get the Monorail to Epcot was amazing! I would absolutely stay there again if the price is in my budget - but I think I overall liked the vibe of Animal Kingdom Lodge more (and it wasn't as expensive) x
the pavilions were all corporate sponsored when epcot opened. they need to ‘freeze’ a few parts of what’s left from early epcot just as they need to just come out and say the carrousel of progress is not going to be rethemed. epcot was education entertainment and heavy on corporate sponsorship. guardians itself as a ‘pavilion’ sponsored by xander is a throwback, as they crack on the que, to old epcot. so at the end of test track you have a car dealership.
Journey into imagination in 1982 introduced Figment and Dreamfinder to us. The original was presented by Kodak which was a major industry in my hometown of Rochester ny. If you saw the original attraction you might understand our love of figment. The current version is just not as good as it was
I think that you can like or even love a character without liking/loving the movie or the attraction like I love Bambi and Thumper and Flower but don’t like the movie for instance 😅 I love Figment because of what I associate with dragons in general and he’s a cute dragon for sure 😊 yes the attraction is even disturbing 😂

the legendary imagineering battle between funny scary and scary scary. we know exactly what you mean. go to the disney history institute if you want to dig deeper.
your nice breakfast may have helped in guardians but you seem to not be impacted by motion issues. enjoy that. for some folks it changes as you age. guardians left me weak, wobbly and headed for a slice at connections. epcot needs more live shows
I just finished Day 7 of Disneyland to find this is uploaded! Wooohh! (also I am so sorry I never like the videos, I literally forget) Fun fact! Did you know the factor of sun screen means how often you have to reapply? So Factor 30 means every 30 minutes and Factor 50 is every 50 minutes. I could never, personally, so I'm glad I don't burn too easily except on my nose and the top of my cheeks, haha! As for character meets, as long as autographs are allowed I am 100% okay with shorter meets. How do groups/families work with characters? Is it only group photos allowed, or can you take individual photos as well? You: this has been a long one Me: *remembers the 2 hour Day 2 vlog* Me: you're good!

So true! My nostalgia is for the old ride - the newer one is not good. Although, even that is old now 😂…. Definitely needs a refresh.

No, it's a virtual queue, so you don't have to physically wait in line. But you still have to wait until your time comes x
