BTS world is a game Bighit launched where all the members have their own story line and you are their manager. The stories are all well written 😣 and as you can see in the music video they all have their own stories and paths.

This track was made to promote their app game BTS World where we get to go back in time (2012/2013) when BTS wasn't a group yet and be a manager of theirs. It's all about them getting together, or a parallel universe where they didn't meet at all and they would be doing different things :(
In any way, it's a beautifully written song and their emotional tones just makes it even more special. Thanks for reacting Sammy 💜
OST means "official sound track." So basically songs made for dramas or shows or games, you can call them OSTs. This is BTS' main OST for their mobile game "BTS World" where you are their manager and experience the journey together for them to become BTS. So it starts in 2012 "where we first met" because that's when the members met each other and became BTS. You can also play their solo stories, which is basically a future where they aren't BTS but rather who they would've become instead. For example, V would've been a farmer if he didn't join BTS, which is what his story is about. Jungkook likes martial arts, RM would be something similar to an inspector or investigator, Hobi would work with animals and Yoongi would be a pianist. BTS World is all about each member's story, it's a great way to learn about them because they act and take pictures specifically for the game too. 💜💜💜

And as with several of their songs, this one is dedicated to ARMY, and the 2 worlds colliding could, in my opinion, represent the collision of the worlds of "BTS and ARMY" as well as the collision of the BTS members' 2 worlds (their world as BTS members and their world as individuals with their own identities and paths).

The song basically is like what they would have become if they hadn't met like. V would be a farmer, Jungkook would probably try sports or compete, Jin might have worked for his uncle but in here he's a hotel worker or something, Jimin a baker but still a dancer since that's been his talent since a long time, and Jhope as a vet doctor, Suga is performing with his piano. But you can see RM and Suga colliding as if to say they were destined to meet because they were both underground rappers. But you can see they then descended into dance practice which was for their DEBUT song No More Dream. They got together and their world started. Which was why there was so much universe going on. "Feel the destiny in you, feel the destiny in me." It talks about ARMY and BTS fates coming together.

Like..the facts. That's why we say BTS NEVER MAKES ANY BAD SONGS.
There are 14 songs actually. It's just that the rest are instrumentals and 2 by Lee Hyun.
BTS World game is half about their origin as a group, training, debut, etc and the other part is individual stories about what the members may have been doing if they hadn't been formed into a group. Taehyng - farmer like his parents, Jungkook - an athlete, Jimin - helping at his grandmother's bakery, RM - detective, J-hope - veterinarian, Suga - pianist, Jin - hotel concierge. You see snippets in the MV of all these story lines.
The BTS World gameplay is basically a photo card-collecting grind, so unless that's your jam, it's not much to checkout. But, there are some cute promo videos+behind the scenes from the game launch last year that are fun to watch.

at first... I'm crying like every time a watch this mv... and second... The mv is made to promote a game but it tells the story about how they would have become if they had never met each other and wouldn't be a part of bts.

imagine listening to this in an airplane at night..i cried. if you ever go on an airplane, you have to listen to dream glow, mikrokosmos, and heartbeat. esp while taking off and during the night/sunrise and sunset. it's an amazing experience and whenever i listen to the songs now, i feel the feelings i felt then.

This song makes me cry *immediately* lol
in fact, it's deeper than just their hobbies in their spare time, it's like two parallel worlds, one where they are not idols and one where they are just having a normal life. But if you pay attention, even in that world where they are not idols, they will eventually find eachother somewhere in their lives (as you can see in the 13:33 minute) and that scene is close to the part where the two worlds collide and and then merge. And that is the meaning of the song: that even if they were not band mates, they would all meet and become friends, like destiny, which is why they say: "I feel the destiny in you and the destiny in me ".
I think it's incredible and every time I hear this song, I get goosebumps, because I realize how precious their friendship is, that they consider it a thing of destiny. they were meant to be together!

So you have the one world where BTS are together as BTS and heading towards debut and you have the other world where theyre not together and theyre doing their own things unaware of each other. That is what we see in this MV.

'Heartbeat' is basically a theme song of a mobile game called 'BTS World' in which you play the manager role to gather all 7 BTS members for their debut (the MAIN storyline). There are also individual SIDE storylines of all 7 members, which are the implications of the fates of the members if they DID NOT meet each other and form BTS.

Lol I know you get lost into the music but when you watch the lyric videos, you see who is singing at any given time by which photo is lit up vs which ones are darkened. V was singing with Jungkook earlier in the song where you thought it was RM.
As for what the visuals mean, its basically saying that if BTS didnt exist and each member went a different way in life, they would still find each other. They truly have an amazing bond with each other

I'm like half sad half happy at this reaction only because you have part of this video correct.
This is a game, BTS World, and this OST (Original SoundTrack, used for stuff like movies, dramas, games) kills me everytime! You're a new ARMY, so I know that this MV makes some sort of sense and it doesnt at the same time, but it's representing that no matter what their paths were/differed, no matter when they crossed paths, BTS members would have met each other. And the planets colliding and merging, that represents both worlds of their different paths and being BTS and meeting ARMY as something that would've happened eventually (maybe a bit of a stretch there - I have so many thoughts jumbling together cause this song makes me cry no matter what)
Summerizing point is: BTS members and ARMY would STILL find each other no matter what and even in different realities, we will be together.
this mv is basically saying how no matter where bts is or whatever world they might be in, they will always meet, basically they're soulmates and they will always be together forever in every universe. whether they're a worldwide group bts or just 7 regular boys living in their own worlds, they will always find each other.

OST means original soundtrack, it's for BTS World Game where there are two separate storylines. One side of the game , you are their manager trying to get them to debut and on as BTS. The other side of the game is where there are individual storylines. Each member has this "what if" they never became BTS stories. RM is college student that has mad hacker skills and helps the cops solve crimes. Tae is farmers son who goes back home for vacation to find his parents have left on vacation themselves and he has to take care of the farm. Jin is kind of a consierge at a hotel but mostly a baby sitter. JHope is veterinary student. Yoongi a music student/genius pianist. Jimin is a street dancer but wants to take over his Granny's rice cake shop when she falls ill. Jungkook is highschool student who competes in Taekwondo
