A side note for 3:23 Launch did appear in the anime actually for the final genkidama scene, but only in the anime. She was indeed omitted in the manga while android 8 and android 17 did make their cameo in the manga for that scene.
Launch was also in yo son goku special where vegetas brother appears
Years later we find out that she was supposed to appear in the manga too, but was excluded for some reason.

I don't know about Bulma's side, but I think I remember Vegeta saying that he wanted to have his own family because he sees Goku's strength coming from his family. When in fact, Goku just ass-pulls his strength half the time.

Vegeta does mention in Super that saiyans are naturally attracted to women with strong wills/personalities. You may notice Chi-Chi, Bulma, and Videl (at least in DBZ) all have similar short tempers and aren't afraid of standing up to others.
bulma and vegeta bonded when yamcha and bulma broke up and vegeta was trying so hard to become Super Saiyan. she helped him train.

The funny thing is Toriyama himself said he's quite forgetful and because he makes so many characters he sometimes straight up forgets them. But here's Senchou asking the hard-hitting questions: how did Vegeta & Bulma have snu-snu?

I saw comments from sometime ago that he didn't know how to write love story, so that's probably why we never know how Vegeta and Bulma get eachother, and why he chose not to develop Lunch again.
Trunks from the future said that one day during training Bulma notices Vegeta looks a bit lonely and pitiful after training that compels her a bit to tease him.
Being stoic and prude Saiyan prince he tries to pushes her back, but she is so relentless and hates the word 'no'. Things lead to this and that that finally made Vegeta to relent to her advance with the cost of Yamcha being NTR'ed.
Also Vegeta is a tsundere and overly protectice as husband and father.
Future Trunks asked Goku to kept this a secret so they won't feel awkward and allow the natural process to happen.

The Bulma/Vegeta relationship is what happens when Bulma sees something she wants and Vegeta is unable to intimidate or order her around. Bulma wears the pants in the relationship so hard it makes his pants disappear. Uh, figuratively. Mostly.
Saiyans also love strong women, its in their dna to be attracted to them, bardock being more or less the exception and bulma is one of the strongest willed women of the show
Maintaining a large cast over years is a very hard thing to do. Whats sad tho is that theyre almost never shifted back in.

Japan's copyright laws are pretty strict. Like... insanely strict.
You know in anime, if a character wants to eat at a fast food restaurant, they go to "WacDonald's" or something? It's because if they said "McDonald's" they could get sued for copyright infringement. I doubt McDonald's would actually do that, but they legally could.
The same thing applies to doujin artists. They could be sued, but the anime industry has basically decided to turn a blind eye and leave them be.
An abridged series though, uses the anime's original artwork, and that's enough to make the difference. Even if the original artist and production staff thought the abridged series was funny and cool, the publisher's lawyers would DMCA it into the ground.

If I remember correctly, at the end of Freeza saga everyone was transported to earth. That time, Bulma invited Vegeta to live at her home because Vegeta had nowhere to go and that she has plenty of empty rooms.
Well, a man and a woman in their early 20s (I recall that Vegeta is 4 years older than Goku, which makes him at the same as Bulma) living together. Those kind of "things" could easily happen

Even tho it wasn’t in full detail there was a little chemistry between the two before the baby making. It was around the climax of the Frieza saga when Vegeta along with namekians were wished back to life and on earth. Vegeta being the hard ass he is was sitting under a tree by himself so Bulma decides to flirt and tease him to which I think he was visibly flustered by it. Then you have Vegeta crashing at Bulma’s place the entire time and the rest is history.
I'm more concerned how one species from an entirely different planet can even mate with humans in the first place, than how Vegeta and Bulma got together.
I imagine they're almost biologically simillar... I mean.... Sayians are just more beastly versions of humans.... not to mention they look similar save for the tail.... most likely saiyans are part of the Homo genus

Lol. I can't recall if they really touched on it. But I'm fairly certain it was mostly Bulma... Vegeta probably just thought about extending the line in the end and was like "Alright woman, damn." Lol. But look at him now. Arguably one of the best developments from villain to good guy in a while.
Vegeta is the best part of DBZ to be honest. He's the one character with the most development, who feels the most human (the part about him accepting the majin mark or whatever just so he could catch up with Goku hits pretty hard), and ironically is the one who really embodies the hard work gets results -mentality the best... Goku is a superhuman genius, Vegeta is the one who has to go through endless amounts of training to even get close to him, even though he himself is also seen as a genius. If Vegeta never appeared, I doubt the series would have become the household name it is.

@@Grim187Grey if you haven't seen Original and DBZ then not really. You will get very confused at all the call backs and fan service like remaking broly from the broly movies into another person and such.
In general even the abilities are simple and not so interesting as it goes back to power only after each fight and Goku is even dumber than before putting the world in danger many times to satisfy his own selfish desires to fight. Makes him less likeable the more you see him put everyone at risk.
Bulma didn't have to seduce Vegeta. He wanted to tap it, and so he did.

when i rewatched all of dragonball (up thru Z and GT, back before Super was even announced) I didn't even realize that was Launch in the final Spirit Bomb scene until i looked it up later XD i recognized everyone else but not her. She and 17 really did just vanish from the plot. They never do explain where 17 went up until Super decided to bring him back in. Such a strange thing XD
Toriyama forgot about Launch's whole existence was the original "Dany Kind of Forgot About the Iron Fleet"
Goku and Chichi isn’t that surprising since Chichi was thirsting after Goku since the moment they met. But the others? Yeah, it’d be interesting to see how they got together. Canonically anyway.
