    Thanks to Roger and Peyton for sharing! Roger did a video in the past that dealt with doing a real face. It is worth looking for!

    Hi Roger ..and Pete ... its great to watch you carving these figures... I have carved a few simple hillbilly figures but now I am trying to do faces ... I am a long way off your level but I am slowly getting better ... does Pete carve as well ? ...great videos ... take care...All the best.....Andy

    I do some carving, and I have trouble with the sanding of the figure. Would you show how it is done. I have never got one of my figures to be as smooth and blemish free as yours.

      I don't sand I burnish my carving with a small polished dear antler.

      @@rogerstegallwoodcarvings8181 before burnising, the wood has to be pretty smooth to begin with, without sanding, how is that done?

      My tools are extremely sharp that's how I get clean cuts.

    Hi, the dimensions say a 4" x 2" block which I assume to be the height and thickness...what is the width please....amazing carving by the way!!!
