Yoooo thanks for the awesome video dudes! Not done watching yet but I’d love to test a bunch of different tires on that track! Seems like a lotta fun! Didn’t wanna forget, I seen in another comment you had to correct the AVC calibration but just be aware that even if the knob is turned all the way down it’s still not “off.” To kill the AVC entirely, you need to quick press the bind button on the receiver 3 times and then hold it down until it’s flashing. When it binds, it will act like a vanilla receiver with the AVC completely turned off. The only rig I have that I use any stability control with is my Typhon Grom. I do like how granular the adjustment is with AVC on a radio like my DX6R but I’ve just found it (and TSM/etc) to hurt more than help for the way I drive. Keep on rocking, bros! 🤘
Love my Kraton 6s EXB v1 and looking at the Sledge while its on sale. I'd agree the Kraton has some weird issues mostly in the diffs. If you want the most durable truggy look into the 4s Kraton. Goes head to head with my Maxx almost never broken
The control arm inserts on the SLEDGE, they have been around for awhile now. Racing truggies use them I believe to soften and stiffen the control arms for tuning purposes. Depending on the insert it can change the how the suspension responds, is what I’m told. But for the SLEDGE it’s for looks. Cause the arms are pretty damn stiff to begin with. But I’ve noticed it helps to keep sticks, and off road dibree from getting stuck in the arms.
Did you factory calibrate the reciever after replacing the transmitter? Calibrate with Avc trim in the center position with wheels in straight position. There's clearly an issue with your steering.
Both very awesome & capable rc cars, but when it comes to little things like ease of removing the body, Traxxas is the winner. The body pin system on Arrma cars suck.
NIce! Still an "incomplete" comparison though! I would say that in the "working out the bugs" category; it comes down to how many bugs need to be worked out, when, and why. Stability is an unfair call since there were those bugs to be worked and the fact the installed tires weren't really a good option as mentioned. I know that so far on my Sledge, I have yet to get a full battery in a single run due to -something- happening at random. Something breaking. Not being rough either. I finally got it to a point now to where I might be able to, weather has been dreadful as of late to try though. As for the Krayton, seems there have been a few hiccups along the way that could probably be chalked up to just a subpar unit. Have seen both though on both sides of the spectrum with no problems out the box to nothing but. Eh.. I am considering an XRT in the near future though. Any plans on y'all getting one? Would love to see what ya think. ;-)
I hope you guys test the new Kraton 6s V6 ! Fixes all the power delivery issues ! Thanks.
Love the Sledge, I have a 4S track build and a 6S track build 👍🏽👍🏽
I love the speed of the sledge but the new k6 hits 66 mph out the box
Definitely should do another versus after Kraton bugs gone 👍🏻
I finally broke a part on my Kraton exb after 4 months lol . I did drop the avc receiver for a sr315 and 17t pinion . No issues and i send my rigs !
They’re both awesome. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either one. Whichever one puts the biggest smile on your face is the right one.
Well said

Good tip! I’ll be sure to check that out on the next run.

Put high density foam strips on the body to stop the shocks from pokin through as much
For the Kraton, M2C cups for the rearend adjust the droop screws for the rear arms. Too much travel will break the cups.
Deff the SLEDGE over Kraton, seems smoother and more durable. Kraton has a lot of potential after a few fixes
Sledge is the best. I got 3 sledges but I sold my old one. I got a new sledge V2 now
I’m not calling the Sledge V2, nothing was done to deserve being called V2. But the SLEDGE has become the most reliable basher we have.
@ SLEDGE SLEDGE SLEDGE, SSSLLLLEEEEEDDDDDDDDDGGGGGEEEEEEEE.
@ it’s already too late it evolved
@@therccelebrityspeedfresh5393 Into what? nothing was fixed or changed but the price and color
No version 2 yet, just a pointless update. Next sledge needs better chassis, better motor system.,..plastic come on traxxas
What’s the purpose of the control or suspension arm covers? Thanks!

AVC was reversed
Just curious, what’s the weight of each of those by watching the video the sledge looks a little heavier…
SLEDGE 12.7 lbs, Kraton 12.2 lbs pretty close in weight

The SLEDGE has been almost unbreakable even after purposely sending it too hard. We will verse again once these little issues are fixed.
Omg I can see Arrma fanboys heads exploding when they see you putting traxxas batteries in the kraton 🤣🤣
Haha I was imagining that as we were doing it.
