    • @vinc88

      The sound from garageband you choose comes from the laptop , so you listen to the speakers of the laptop or use headphones while playing
      If you turn piano speakers on you hear the original roland sound. But not the chosen midi sound
      But for me the midi piano sound and Roland piano sound is all piano so i often listen to the speakers of the piano. But sometimes i use headphones

    How recording a video but with sound only coming from the piano and matching the video ???
    Do I need to create this midi document like in the tutorial? If so, then what is the following step ?
    I do not need only an mp3.
    I want record video's with better audio quality (like the piano sound in yours).

      Thank you for watching,
      You can record the midi like in this video and export to mp3 file.
      When you record the midi also record yourself playing with a camera.
      Later in post you can synchronize the audio with the video. (I also made a video about how to do that on my channel)
      You put your audio and video together in your video editing software.

    Hey man, great video, thank you! I wanted to ask you if it’s possible to play REAL-TIME different sounds than what FP-30X provides via VST into a DAW for example. I am sure there are better sounds out there than what FP-30X has available, that’s why I am looking into this. Lastly, will the audio be output from the monitors connected to the computer or do the monitors have to be connected to the FP-30X directly?

    • @vinc88
      @vinc88  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes if you connect your macbook to your piano with a midi cable you hear the sound real time from whatever instrument/sound you chose. But the sound comes from the laptop not from the speakers of the piano.

      Yes. You need an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. Buy the Apple at $39, not the knock off brands for much less. You will also need a USB A to B cable to connect the Adapter to your piano. The cable is the same, or similar, to the one commonly used to connect your printer; prices range from $5 to $1,000. I would recommend something under $25. Check your specs to determine whether you need a 2.0 or 3.0 cable. I have a 9th generation iPad which requires a 2.0 cable. Cable lengths vary; buy the shortest length available that easily connects the two devices.
