Those last 10 strokes from Hamish Bond at 6:33 were beastly.
Respect: a final full of phenomenal athletes. It makes a man proud to be a Kiwi.
If Hamish trained in the scull I reckon he could easily win an Olympic gold.
Hamish ran out of water a little bit. 4 more strokes would've won him the race
great footage, fantastic quality, big cheers for that! many thanks :)
Mahe = Best catch in the game
and best send
I have to say although Eric got dropped pretty fast, his catch and overall form looked the best to me
@@blakeevans4441 Naw, he'd make the best pictures for a textbook, but he didn't have the easy flow of the others.
Mahe has a terrible catch (obviously he made it work), but going that deep is inefficient
Was it intentionally rowed half-slide by Eric and Amish?
probably not, look at their erg videos - it's exactly the same :)
Yes
@@alexshannon7987 tell me the story please
No
what a race
Incrível!
Эпично въехали.
während bei uns Eis auf den Seen ist geben die Jungs richtig Gas!
Boaaaar! Awesome race!
Clean entry
Whoa 😮
Wow
Lane 5, to short in anterior reversing!! thats the reason for inefficiency. regards from Berlin :-)
Lol Who are you to judge hamish rowing style ? He is Freakin double olympic Champion and has not lost a Single 2- Race in ages... And about his Single scull technique: I Bet there are not many rowers on this planet who can keep up with mahe or Even beat him like hamish did... He is damn efficient!
Jasper Angl what x ? :D exactly? 😀
PrimusOmnium he's talking about eric not hamish
mroriona2 no he is not ! Hamish has that laid back style not Eric !
I meant G5, Murray. He is rather short in the front end.
Hamish the best
Eric Murray is lucky he isn’t rowing in a Rowing Australia nationals or else the umpires boat would have its bow wave hitting his boat by the 500m mark!!
Who win this race?
Mahe just
Who is in lane 3 in this race, who gets silver?
Robbie Manson
local contention..
You mixed up Bond and Murray's lanes, or just Bond and Murray. Hamish is in lane 5 next to Mahe, Eric in lane 2.
You sure? Looks to me like Hamish certainly came 3rd rowing in lane 2.
ThreeDaysGraceRS I think you’re confused. Eric is in the lane next to Mahe.
Boat number 5 is Eric Murray between Mahe and John Storey in lane 6
