Samina Aapa, you are an empath. You take a character that bas it's own energy and you bring life to that character. The energies sync and then you embody this energy. Empaths feel deeply and they pick up feelings and energies of others ( in your case the characters itself) and then you make them your own.
For you to let go, is kept in knowing yourself. When I work with my clients. I have a completely different technique, than other actors would need.

Faisal is a good actor and human being but i feel sometime that he has not a very strong bond with his mother. It looks something missing between them which we (fans) are not aware of although his mother is also a gem of person. But my best wishes are always with him and his family.
See his Salaam Zindagi episode with his mother and you will know that they share a very pure full of friendship bond
