      Let’s say hypothetically, they let him primary Biden how close do you think he would’ve gotten? His own family didn’t even support him. I think a third-party candidate is a great idea. I don’t think RFK is that candidate.

    I'd rather cast a protest vote for RFK even if he may not have a path to victory anymore than have him side with Trump. Trump and Harris are both unfit for office (although they do belong on the *ballot* as does RFK) so that just seems like a waste to me to throw in with a bad candidate.

      We need States to take initiative to call a constitutional convention to adopt ONE Amendment - NEW Apportionment (no longer changeable by Congress) that would be at or near what the ratio it was at the time the constitution was first adopted. 1 : 40-50K
      The next Congress would then have 95% new faces of thousands of regular Americans and be a much closer representation of the People.
      And the increaded number of representatives would be harder for the elite to gain a foothold over by using threats or bribes.

    • @2Truth4Liberty
      @2Truth4Liberty 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @Bigleybig I appreciate the sentiment but eliminaiton of political parties would be virtually impossible since they are private associations tied to a fundamental right of association and the natural inclination of people wanting to make a difference in the political realm (public policy, etc) is to align with those who are like minded which is often made far easier through existence of a formal association (i.e., a pol;itical party).
      Plus, having a more direct hand in influencing a congressional representative can happen with or without there being political parties. APPORTIONMENT needs to change.

      That has nothing to do with why he’s dropping out. He’s been a center to center right candidate in the US since his bid.
      The Democrats would have to actually want him and they didn’t. His political campaign whether intentional or not was too right wing to actually be a popular with democrats.
      Now with Kamala you have next to no reason as a democrat to back RFK. He’s nothing new, he makes claims he can never hope to accomplish and has no senatorial or administrative experience to give confidence he and his administration could actually do anything

      The judicial system whether corrupt or not ENABLES the dems to do this as well as the intention of the democrats was to run out the clock on RFK Jr getting onto the ballots of several states even though he had more than necessary compliance in those states. Trump's flattery of RFK is predictable with that endorsement hanging in the balance. Such is Trump's transactional nature. Reading anything more into it is naive.

      Indeed. All 5000 Kennedy supporters still left will all jump on the Trump wagon even tho RFK said Trump was a bad president and part of the swamp. Lol. It'll sway the entire election.
      RFK was only a real threat to Dems when Biden was still running. Ever since Kamala took over his polls have tanked.

      @@JustMe-ec2ph It's been fine for me for nearly 4 years so far. The next several months aren't suddenly going to ruin my life. Biden's doing great, and Harris will do even better. Y'all were right - old, geriatric candidates are NOT the way to go. Shame y'all think that only applies to the left, though. Your guy's older now than Biden was for years ago when y'all were crying about his age. But that's okay... Keep showing your hypocrisy. It's all good. No worries here. Besides... Have *_YOU_* been directly harmed by something this administration has done? What rights have they taken away from you? What opportunities? How exactly has this administration done to you that makes you so unhappy with it? Please explain in detail.
