Wyonnna you are so precious beautiful and amazing. I have been a fan of yours and your precious mom Naomi since the 80's a long time. I just love you. ❤️ You go on girl and just take one day one minute at a time. Baby steps. Much love hugs and prayers. ❤️ 🧡🧡💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏
OMG the song that got me to love music and first cassette tape i ever bought, man yes those pipes and it was like she was singing it this time for mom Love it
Kentucky proud and Kentucky strong. Loved you from the beginning. So sorry for your loss. Met you in the eighties at fan fair. What a pair! Love and prayers from another Kentucky woman. 💞🙏
@@StonedMickey ya know what? For one thing it's none of your business!!! Your only say that because it was in the fake news. There were a lot of things said that are not true so don't JUDGE people!!!
Kudos to her for her perseverance, and tenacity. in what must be probably the first or second most difficult thing her life I would imagine. Not knowing her personally, I can't really say but what I can say is she sounded great, but I heard an edge of anger in that song, which normally I do not. I think she was asking her mama, why not me, for exactly what only Wy would know? I felt a little sadness, anger, and frustration in the song. Wy looked amazingly put together and pulled together, but in her eyes, I see the deep despair and sadness as she navigates this difficult and what must be a heartwrenching thing of performing solo when she should be performing with her mama. She looked tired to me, depressed and uncertain but still forging ahead even though she doesn't know what is around the bend. ROCK ON WYNONNA! You are an inspiration for so many of us women, but please make sure you take the time YOU need.
Oh, gosh, that brought memories back of when this small town girl went with my dad to an October harvest moon dance at the vfw hall. The ladies all made delicious homemade pies, cakes and cookies. There was a little local country band. I was maybe 11 or 12. My dad died when I was 21. I remember he wore a suit and I wore my Sunday school dress. Thanks so much for the walk down memory lane.
Wonder if she changed the way it was sung to get through it or to make it more her own. Good to see her back and to hear her sing. Can't imagine the loss this family must feel daily. May God be their strength, their Rock.
Lol- yep it’s on here multiple times with the original singing 😂. But Wynonna’s voice has changed and Naomi is gone…so I am just hoping this song goes through the generations and other singers in some form or fashion for decades!
@@Sarah-wj9dl I’m aware of all you mentioned, but she could stop adding weird licks and completely changing the notes. It’s like when you are craving to hear that song, and they pull the rug from out under you.
Wy you did a fantastic job as you always do. I love hearing you sing. I’m actually reading your book Coming home to myself and it’s a great book. I love you and I will continue to pray for you and your family ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Sounds great, but sometimes I just want to hear it like it was originally sung. (Go TH-cam it, right?)
