Any suggestions for the wheels?

Apex Detail car looks great 👍. My suggestion for wheels are the weld racing rts s71’s. The spokes are black but the lip and barrel are polished aluminum.
@@craig.encinitas I love the red of the 5th image with chrome rims and offset! 👍
WELD S71
The chrome has to go.

I love the wheels you already have on it!👍
Now that is a very cool upgrade.. looks awesome. I would keep the wheels you have.. The touch of chrome is sporty and classy.
Brian, it’s good to see you taking some time for your own vehicle. It looks awesome!!
Brian, not only does the kit look great on the car but my gosh, the paint is amazing. Looks better in this video than when you first revealed it!!!
As it cured...the gloss increased even more.
Brian, corvette looking fantastic, looking forward to the finish product.
I like the rims that you have already.
Great videos, my favorite detail channel.I like how you have a variety of content on your channel and everything done professionally.
Just one guy’s opinion, i think 🤔 chrome looks great
Nice install and protection 💎
Agree with others. That chrome and black is the right amount of contrast. Classy all the way. Beautiful car.
I personally love the chrome wheels but if I we're going to go black..... I'd go with black chrome. You would still get the highlights from the chrome yet have that blacked out look.
I like the look you have now. Need contrast. Black on black hids that beautiful car.
Happy New Year Brian, here is something you might use tonight or in the future:
There are good ships
and there are wood ships,
the ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships are Friendships
and may they always be.
( An old Irish toast )
Bette looks awesome, black the best color.I like the stock chrome rims with the red brake calipers.
Happy new year Bryan!!
Happy New Year!
Brian I’m old keep the chrome. It makes the car stand out.👍🔔🔔🔔😎😎😎😎
Your current rims have just the right amount of pop. I know blacked out rims are big right now but that doesn't mean they'll look better.
great video again buddy. wishing u,jr,and mom happy healthy new year!!🍻🍻🍻🍻
Looks great!! Nice work!
Everybody is going black or with a dark color if I was you I would keep the Chrome the Chrome looks so good on that car
Nice improvement!
Nice job. You made it look easy. My next mod. Ordering today. Thank you for sharing.
Looks great! Can’t wait to see all the updates. I like the idea off preventing stone chips as I’ve got 305x19” CCWs on the back of my 2001 Z06. Got to check out the companies you referenced. Happy New Year to you and Junior.
Brian i love the chrome.
Happy new year's to you and your son.
Happy New Year!
Looks Awesome Brian 🤘🏼🤘🏼😎
I split the difference between chrome and black by doing gunmetal / graphite color on my Laguna Blue C7 Z51. American Racing Crossfires AR924. Got EOS side skirts as they really help keep the sides of the car protected from debris. I tracked the car once with just the splash guards and it was covered with junk.
Love the wheels, second choice? Black chrome...
Keep the stock rims. They look fantastic.
Looks sweet!!
They look awesome B. Very cool video
Chrome wheels all the way. All black is overdone. I love the pop that the chrome gives. Sets off the carbon fiber and black paint beautifully.
I have to agree. I've seen some nice monochrome twists on the idea but all blacked out has become way too common for me.
Whatever you do do not put chrome wheels on this car. Only little kids like chrome wheels. Your car would look like a shitty hot wheels.
The exhaust and rear emblem tie in with the chrome wheels. If you go black wheels, the other two items will be staring you in the face waiting for “change”. It’s a tough position to be in! Lol. It looks great either way. But the fact that you’re questioning probably means you will swap them over at some point.
I myself still like chrome but if you want a blacked out look black/chrome is killer looking if you have a chance to see it in person. It's a deep black look that is very unique.
Me i Keep the chrome wheels, that make contrast 😉
Great information I’m doing mine this weekend
Looks sweet Brian! Gotta say though, I love your chrome wheels instead of black. The chrome wheels add incredible pop to the visuals for me anyways! Can't go wrong either way.👍
Keep the wheels Chrome... You need to have the contrast to put it all together visually.
McKees 37 ceramic polish vs turtle wax hybrid ceramic polish and wax which is better?... I’d just get the rims dipped for a carbon fiber look it would look awesome to complete the carbon fiber and black look you have going
AWESOME!! Ilike the chrome wheels sets the black off. I have to ask it is driving me crazy you did coat under the side skirts? I think you did just didn't show it cause your ocd like that :)
Chrome wheels are just fine. Dont let the herd determine your likes or dislikes
Lovey motor very nice 👍
Good my friend ! 👍
The "body kit" looks amazing! As far as the wheels, in my opinion I think cars need contrast! I'm not a fan of the total blacked out look. I know black wheels are popular now but for me on a totally black car chrome or polished aluminum is the way to go! It's just too much black with black wheels.
I personally don't have any suggestions for the wheels, but the Corvette is coming along great! Do you see yourself ever owning one of the new models?
yes...the 2023 Z o6
Brian great how to video an go with the black chrome wheels I have a c7 to an I got the black chrome wheels look just like stock but in a black chrome
Looks awesome! Drive safely. Would it not be better to do IGL Ceramic coat on the parts before installing them and at the end simply clean it wth sacrificial protective SIO2 spray detailer layer?
Also does your supplier sell sleek looking splash guards for wheel well to protect under body and sides from nasty buildups?
Yes...I will get footage of installation. As for coating them before hand. I would have loved to. But I finaly hat time to install them...but no time for pre coating and cure time.
Apex Detail I completely understand how busy you are but still take time to help create contents to educate novice detailer like myself.
Really appreciate your time and sharing the wealth of knowledge.

Looks great Brian!!!
BTW, I have silver C7Z wheels on my black C6Z, I get compliments on them all the time! Pics on my IG account under the same name if you want to see how it looks. I don't think they would fit on yours w/o flares of some type, but you can see how something similar might look on your black vette. I have a set of black C7Z wheels for mine as well, but I don't think it looks as good... there's no contrast. Just please don't do chrome if you replace yours! I have polished 6 spokes on my Viper and probably wouldn't do those again today. Too much work and ten years later they are kinda out of style.
Checking out other C7's on IG might give you some ideas if you're on there.
Have you thought of having a lift at your business? I just bought a 7000lbs QuickJack and I’ll be using it to detail my Grand Sport, do oil changes and also will be changing my brake pads to Hawk ceramic pads. They’re suppose to cut brake dust by 90%
I have a Snap On 6000lb. Having it refurbished and then counter sinking it into the floor. I just never get the time to to it.
How about keeping the stock wheels but having them powder coated black, there is one in my neighborhood like that and it looks great.
Great job as always Brian. What about the barn find corvette?
Getting spring and rear end work...should have it back soon.
Very nice !
I’m partial to the BBS WHEELS.
I like the chrome wheels. Breaks up the black. I wish I could sell you my black Grand Sport wheels. I put chrome Z06 mags on my 2017 Grand Sport.
Your car looks wonderful. Mine is black, someday it will be as shiny as yours.
Look at 'House of Wheels'(Florida) for a good deal and selections.
Damm brain u do everything lol
I enjoy every minute of it.🙂
Geez! Who has the $$$$ for these kits?! Expensive! But looks great!
Which kit did you go with and which manufacturer
Brian, little off topic but im working on a buddys gun metallic 05 rx8. The hood roof and trunk has a yellowish tent to it from what im assuming is from the sun. Is there a way to remove that? Ive been using the angelwax ioa with a uro fiber 50/50 on the whole car it that doesnt seem to want to do the trick. I also tried the max shine cut pad with the ioa and that didnt touch it. I would rather not wet sand or wool pad it since im sure the clear is on its way out the door as it is.
considering the year...if AIO doesnt correct it...let it be....or re paint.
Thank you Brian
I'm suprised you didn't lay down coating before attaching the skirts any reason why?
The spare time popped up to install them...didnt have time to pre coat them...unfortunately.
My Grand Sport is all black, so my vote is for black wheels
Why wouldn’t you protect before you install?
Can the car still be lifted with a 4 post lift, after the install of the side skirts?
Yes...you have 1,3/4 inches or more depending on the suspension and tires.
Falcon Forged wheels?
Definitely need to get rid of those chrome wheels.........
WELD S71
Brian, you know what you can do with those wheels for the mean time to black them out? This little trick I learned from Mitch Carveth: th-cam.com/video/U7zG2PT8X8U/w-d-xo.html Plus you can get a video or two out of it ;-) PS Here's a little trick I learned from CustomSprayMods to blackout your headlight assembly a much better way that using smoked lens covers (imho) th-cam.com/video/jiCXhkI9KSg/w-d-xo.html
Live it chrome don't u black out the wheels it won't stand out , is just like a piece of nothing,,,
Lacks adequate instructional details.
Riced out the vet.
It is a Grand Sport package...factory replica parts.🙂
I'm Done watching anymore Detailing videos they must think people are all stupid
