The Susquehanna looks like an awesome river , would love to drift it in my Kayak sometime. The old saying about never fishing the same river twice is true for all their reasons you mentioned. Good luck to Mike in starting his guide business.
I fished the entire day Sam! Water was cold, was twitching an XRap (jerkbait), swimbaits, tubes, spinners, chatterbaits, & spinnerbait with no takers. No one else was fishing, but the boys were hooked up non stop with the fly fishing gear.

Thanks! The fly definitely kicked my butt. They were hitting flies but wouldn't hit any of my lures, swimbaits, spinners, tubes etc...
Mike is the best guide out on the water! We had a blast on the Sus and caught many fish & had many laughs.
