Hey do you know why they deleted many of the video reviews of this drone? I saw them and not anymore even captain drone deleted his review of the DoMain 42 maybe defective?
Have no idea really, I didn't even know a 4.2 existed before checking the website, maybe since the China new year is close they are not able to launch it properly? We'll see in mid February if it launches
I've just got one, not flown yet waiting on my Goggles to arrive. Its a pocket rocket by the looks of it. could be a while before im up to your standard. Great Video. Your channel is one of my favourites. You got the format spot on for me.
Normally I use it in 4:3 2.7 50, dlog, noise reduction and sharpness -2 Stabilize in gyroflow, you can choose 16:9 or 9:16 and you are using the most of the sensor and fov In da vinci i color and add back the sharpness, also you have a super scale effect that works wonders But usually for reviews I keep it easy
"Thanks for the great review, I'm definitely going to buy it! I'm wondering what receiver you installed to let it work with your DJI radio, or did it just pair because they’re both DJI? I have an O3 and 03 Goggles, but I have a radio that can pair with any receiver. Any recommendations?"
It's all about props. The disc area is pretty small for such a heavy build. These props need to spin really fast to compensate the weight. The iflight F4X has a better prop choice, although they could have built it 100g lighter.
With o3 only it's super snappy and agile, a 5 inch will be more efficient and overall powerful of course! They also have this domain in 4.2 inch variant
How would you rate geprc Domain 3.6 compared to Domain 4.2? It was mentioned in a review that the 4.2 is supposed to be significantly quieter. This is a great side effect, but I would still opt for the version that is better for freestyle flying.
At the moment the one I flew in the video is the heaviest lipo I own, if you manage the throttle is fine, but for indoor flying maybe a cinelog 35 is a much better option as it has some protection
Yes i have to decide between a cinewhoop and a small freestyle drone The problem is I don’t have the money for both and I do some real estate videos but also want cinematic travel videos with some beautiful dives. Do you have a recommendation for a strong cinewhoop or a well controllable 3” -4” drone ? Your opinion would be very helpful 🙏🏻
If you want to do real estate you want a cine whoop probably around the 20 or 25 mark. If you want something that is RTF then you'll have to go something from GEPRC, iFlight etc. If you're comfortable building your own then look at the carbon cinewhoop frames like the Hurricane 20, 25 etc. There are other manufacturers out there who also make carbon frames in this footprint. A 3.6" deadcat frame like this with a weight of 499g is far too heavy for indoor flying. Personally I think it's overweight for outdoors too. I've built an Amax 3.5 micro, designed a custom tpu mount for vista as there was no room to mount the vtx and it still comes in at 210g with battery, 170 without. It's only got Xing 1404 motors on it but reckon if I swapped it over to 2004-2104 motors, even with a 4s 1300mah it would only weigh 330g and probably outperform this 🤣.
Hello Rimzler! I already have a Geprc cinelog 20 and I really like it, but I want to buy a freestyle drone. My choice is this drone or the Axisflying Manta 3.6. Which one do you recommend, which was better to fly with? I would be very interested in your opinion, thank you.
My friend, can you fix the focusing of the camera in your videos? the constant movement of the focusing, and the fact that many times the image is out of focus gives me a headache with my astigmatism, and it's not easy for me to watch the videos.
You are right, usually shoot at f1.7, this video I shot at 2.8 to try and make it better, but I get too close to the camera, will improve thanks for letting me know!
We have 2 of the 4.2 size. It is my "go to" quad now! Insane power and flies on rails! Tricks are easy and precise.... Great video...btw, love your voice over in deadpool😜
Well it's 2 different kind of drones, depends on your needs If you want to stay sub 250g get the tern, more efficient, silent and less power The domain is a rocket basically, super fun to fly but heavy noisy and powerful
Hello champion, I watch all your videos and I love them, it's a shame that I don't understand the entry, a question that I bought this drone, I'm waiting to receive it, I've been looking for a small and powerful drone for a while, can you tell me if I've made a good purchase, tell me What do you think of him, thank you
Rates or PID look terrible in your video. As 4 min flight time. I bet this drones makes as much noise as a 5 Inch.. so it has worse tune, worse flight time and all disadvantages of a big drone but with no advantages because you can't spin those 3.5 inch props efficiently with all extra power too. Geprc succeeded almost beating Avata how bad the their recent drones are.
Pids are good, rates could be better but I always fly stuff as it comes, consider I use DJI radio with thumbs so normally add a little expo and adjust rates for that This 3.6 inches class are a lot of fun, and probably more resistant to crashes due to the shorter arms, but of course a 5 inch is a better option
@@BeautyBeastRC yes, we have plenty of those rubish drones already. GEPRC was about making well balanced, perfectly tuned, cinematic drones out of the box like the Smart35 once. Sadly, they are not updating any of those with the O3. Just pushing some random parts rubbish drones like iflight and all others.
Thanks for investing the time and resources for making this video. We have 2 of the 4.2 versions here and absolutely love the way the feel in the air. An X frame 5 inch (props in view) carrying a seperate vid camera feels piggish in comparison. Keep up the good work. Awesome video👍👍
It's crazy how locked in its movements are even going nuts on the sticks
Having such short arms it turns super quick it's crazy
I do love the way geprc mounts their xt60 plugs into the frame.
Pretty neat yes!
Thanks for the great review, I’ve been wondering about this one. Looks great, flys great ,and looks very sturdy. I may get one. Have a happy new year.
It's a super fun little quad for sure!
Would you pick this or the manta 3.6?
how is it compare with manta 3.6? in term of handling and top speed.
Manata is a bit fadter but its not to be of importance
The best reviews ever!
Which better between axis manta 3.6 and geprc 3.6??
Check the end of the video ahahah, they are incredibly close imho
@@Rimzler which do you think more faster?? Or draw??
@@Rimzlerplease answer sir. Im keen to know too
excelent bro hopp hopp
Thanks for tuning in!🛸🛸

@@Rimzler anyway your reviews are always the best
It took them two weeks to ship my 4.2 and still not here yet 🤣
I'm considering upgrade from my cinebot 3" to freestyle, so i dont know which one to cholse, the 3.6" vs 4.2"?
looking good
Love when they look crisp
16:9 fov ultra wide with automatic video settings?
No I recorded in 4:3 and then stretched the footage in gyroflow, but no stabilization

Hello good video, a question what mode do you use the DJI 03 in? I mean in what settings do you use the camera thank you
Normally I use it in 4:3 2.7 50, dlog, noise reduction and sharpness -2

Funny reaction of the crash hahaha
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can you test DarwinFPV Hulk II?
I'll look into it!
would the Domain 4.2 be better to carry a full gopro?

4.2 is awesome👍
@@LuckyPratama71 I have the 4.2 version, love it. Managed 120mph on a 150c battery the other day.
Congratulations on the videos! Haven't bought the Chimera 7 v2 ?
Thank you so much! No I have not, but curious about it!

It was mentioned in a review that the 4.2 is supposed to be significantly quieter.

Yes I think 4.2 is nice, but is a weird prop size, maybe a 5 inch at that point is the most versatile anyway
Which is better. This one or Oasisfly25?
Completely two different drones, I would get a 5 inch compared to that, the Oasis fly is good in his category
What do u think is better this or the manta 3.6
I would personally go 5 inch, I'm liking the nazgul eco lately, cheaper, lighter and does a perfect job
@Rimzler I have a 5inch what I’m wondering is which is better in the 3.6inch class 🤷🏽♂️
Man I like your videos just like your accent
Ahahahah thank you lol, my accent is super weird
Is it possible to use this drone for indoor flights?
Maybe with a 1500mah lipo ?
I mean is not impossible but will have to be very careful ahahahhaah the more weight you out the more tame it gets
Thank you for the quick answer 😊
Could you please Test it for me with a Heavy lipo and a GoPro on top?

They are super similar, get the one you find cheaper/easier or you like better

I have this dron, but I can’t fly as you! 😂 thank for your video!
I just bought it. microsd is not detected and it really hard to remove the microsd. can you please help? or make video for it
You have to try with your fingernail, it's spring loaded, o3 system is picky with SD cards, you need a good quality one
@@Rimzler ok thank you so much man. Anyways, Im considering to use insta360 ace pro with this quad, can this quad carry it?

It would be great with a gopro session.
True, probably boxy little action cams are the best here
Most of my fleet is GEPRC 🙂
Expensive
Especially with the o3 this drones are getting expensive ahahah, but the quality is there
👍❤
Thanks for watching!
Between the Axis Manta and the GepRC domain 3.6, which one would you choose? Is the flight time comparable?
They are incredibly similar, go with the one you find cheaper or like better
For the price, I don't see a reason not to go 5"
Depends on your needs, but yeah 5 inch is more versatile usually
@@Rimzler I would like to the the flight times of the 3.6 with lithium ion pack
I was thinking about that, but a 5 inch is better to use li ion as more efficient, on the 3.6 it struggles
EIS on O3 very bad
Yes is bad, but the video doesn't have eis ahahahah, no stabilization at all
@@Rimzler i had a preorder Domain 4.2 version. I hope will be better than 3.6
sir should we add antenna for this quad to do long range?
A longer antenna improves signal yeah, but with digital is pretty good already
@@Rimzler thank you sir
should of been 1100 with gopro then 1300 on its own
Looks like it flys weird tbh
Crazy power to weigh and size ratio, its harder to control
