This actually does clean the ear. Yhe other tools shes used is just to relax your ear/face muscles. It's similar to when you doctors shoot ear clenaong soultions, in your ear to flush out the wax thats blocking your ear.

It is actually good for your ears. You just have to watch out if you get ear infections and ear clogs easily when water goes in your ear canal.

its not similar, those solutions' viscosity is nothing near to water. they mostly include pure glycerin and acids
