It looks great. I completely agree with you that there is a lot more value in a paint enhancement vs a paint correction. A paint correction doesn’t last long when the vehicle is being driven in foul weather, sitting in parking lots, etc.
Wow another awesome video with Honest real content of Real day to day when running a Profitable Business:) Thank you for being honest about your work and customer expectations:) 😊
Hi. It’s all about the variables. How is the vehicle cared for? What climate and weather does it see? Is it garaged kept? Is it driven daily? Those are the true factors that come into play when determining durability. Whether it’s expensive or not means nothing. But you are correct, in a way. Cheaper products can last just as long or longer within the correct parameters. Thanks for sharing. 😎👍🏼
Very impressive result! There was lots of useful info about the protection used, but no mention of the most important products which brought about the transformation, i.e. the polishing pads and the compounds used.
Thanks. Well I was focusing on other methods in the video this time. We used a few different products. DIY Details Gold Standard Polish, Hybrid Solutions One and Done. Orange LC pads. We found it’s not always about the products but the methods and techniques, and what type of paint is being worked on. So many variables to consider.
This truck gave me anxiety when tuned in the swirl finder the first time. You guys slayed this beast of a truck! The owner should be thrilled with your work! Thank you for another enjoyable Monday video!

I get it. BUT! As a new vehicle off the lot- for the sake of the sacrifice of purchasing a new vehicle from the dealer, you just have to paint correct the damned thing. If only for the freakin hard work it took to fork out that hard-earned cash on a major purchase like that. A real fresh “new” start with your new vehicle. THEN after that- yes the other way like you say. 💯
I recommend using p&s microfibers when removing waxes polish or coatings on black vehicles ! It’ll prevent from scratching, the Walmart cheap rags will leave light scratches due to the material ! Other then that good job !
Hi. Thanks. We don’t use the Walmart microfibers. We use the Kirkland brand yellow. We have never had problems with them. We have had a few bad batches of towels which we returned, hence why we check them to make sure each package is good. Otherwise the Kirkland towels have never left scratches or marring on black paint. At least not for us.
@@MirandaDetailing I use the Kirkland towels also. You said you check them to make sure each package is good. I’m unclear how you do this. What exactly are you doing?

This looks so much better than how it was brought in. I did a hammered Black Miata last weekend. DIY Gold Standard polish with an orange pad did a good job. Sealed it up with 303 Graphene. Have You tried using DIY ceramic gloss as a finisher? It's great stuff. Another fine video. Thanks for sharing. Off this week, so I'll give this fine channel some love! 😎😬
Hey Phil good video as always. Wanted your opinion on something. I’m looking to switch to battery powered polishers. I’ve been looking at the McGuires but always see you and A2Detail has this SPTA. Which would you choose if you had to do it all over?

If you already were going to use your buff machine you shouldve just worked a hard compound in with whatever you were using or a all in one compound and fixed alot more. Just saying it seemed counter productive
