As a Penrith fan I actually feel that BA deserved to at least be given a chance. The board should’ve waited for Mitchell Moses to return and see if the results changed.
Same mate I'm a Panthers fan also and I agree 100%. I like BA, bloody good bloke and if anyone at Parra needed the arse it was the board. I honestly think this is a huge mistake by Parra, I wish Brad all the success he deserves, top bloke and a bloody good coach.

@@WTC-1990 he took them to the finals series 5 times and a grand final once. His coaching stats are above the average coach in the NRL.

as a parra fan i still feel for BA he pulled us out the dirt in those early years and sacking him mid year was crappy from parra we lost gutho and moses of course we weren’t gonna do well if we had kept losing with our main players i would be fine with it but should have been at the end of the season

This is how I feel
Gives them more time to look for a new coach and secure people before they find a job somewhere else. Also important for player retention and recruitment. Also gives Brad more time to look for a new job.
As a Souths fan I didn't think we were a club that lets our coach go mid season, same goes for Parra I didn't think we were one of those clubs all the best to the coaches but they'll be back

I remember where Parra was when Arthur took over. Every real Eel’s fan should. The team was an absolute shambles. Brad built a foundation over the last ten years for the next guy to build on.
Built it well. 11 years the board could at least let him see out the rest of the year just out of respect for what he had done for the club. Top man

They have lost some good players such as Papal'i, Mahoney, Niukore, etc. Out of all the players they have signed since 2022, only Hopgood has been the most impressive.

It nice to see that BA is taking the dismissal well n not personal. It's the nature of team sport, if the team doesn't perform, the coach will usually have to take the blame. BA has had a good innings at the Eels, 11 years. Thank you for your service at the Eels n good luck with your next endeavour.

I was mainly familiar with Bennett & Bellamy (especially) & didn’t even think of Robinson & Stuart 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️. Apologies for my forgetfulness 🙏😌

If he loved it, he would of put more effort into everything. From defending his players, his job, every aspect. But when people quietly go into the night, it means they have nothing left to give and will step down or run out of their contract. This guy was forced to be removed and all he could do is this. Feel sorry for him, and being replaced be Trent Barrett is a slap in the face. On another note, I wish someone would tell him when to use “me” and when to use “my”. The suits will think he’s poorly educated, which is a disadvantage when dealing with the snakes in the board room.

Way better dynamic with braith and jimmy vs the journos. I stopped watching the show for the most part since Ben left. Braith was unbareably cocky up until jimmy was sitting next to him. but it’s probably even better now

F**k man hearing him talk about our club like that makes me think… Was he really the problem ?, Where you hear a bloke speak so highly and genuine about something it makes you wonder why we did what we did , Who is really responsible, Who is really meant to answer for the downs of the club, is it the players, is it the CEO, Is it the football manager who ?!?!?, It really sucks we had to do BA like that I know deep down he was only doing what he was told nothing more, I honestly think the board wasn’t behind him and was always dictating from upstairs. Look, wherever he ends up I know he’ll wear his heart on his sleeve and definitely do a tremendous job. As for us (EELS) , I really hope this was the right move and hopefully we can move forward and get someone off BA like- ness to take charge next season.

No class from Parra here. 11 years. Took us to contenders. Has a below average squad apart from halves (which have been unavailable for large parts of the last couple of seasons).
Give him a better squad and the narrative is changed….

DUMB DUMB DUMB, So disrespectful to sack their coach of 11 years, who was there through some of the worst scandals and got the club out of it, Sure i want a premiership but sacking this guy midseason to try and save your season with 2 stars out is a joke. Parra board needs to go. Its results driven yes, but you cant help injuries especially of your best players. Honestly feel brad was still the guy, If im gonna be honest this season was probably over if you take into account that moses will be playing origin as well and we wont have him for those games either. But i cant blame brad for any of this.

Not sure what to say but the Paras were a good team in the last couple of years. Under Brad they did have some bad seasons but when they stepped up they were one of the most dangerous team in the NRL. I remeber a couple of years ago when Penrith was in its unbeatable stage the only team that could beat Penrith was the Eels

Results speak for themselves. BA over the last couple of years has made questionable decisions and didnt want to change the process. Parra made a GF and got smoked. Looking forward to a new era at Parra.

Poor decision from Parramatta. The problem is they don’t have a coach to replace him. The entire Parramatta board needs to be investigated. I have made some really poor decisions over to use with player recruitments and manager recruitments.
