Always wonderful to see new patches from you. I hope you get your hands on the Sequential Take 5 and give that a try. Would love to hear what sounds you could make.
Looking to spice up the MS2000r. Works great paired with a V-Synth. Also, if anyone has glitchy or no function, open it up and resolder the power pin connections, did that to mine and still works great. Since the power connection is not properly supported mechanically like all the other connectors, the solder for the connector can get brittle and fracture.
@@Synth-PatchesCom I own a few UM-1 devices, and they are quite reliable. However, the issue lies more with the software used for data transfer and configuring the synthesizer to accept SysEx. I've never attempted a SysEx program dump with the MS2000, although I have with many other synths, so it would be surprising if it worked on the first attempt 🙂. More sounds on the way? That is indeed exciting news!
I just bought an MS2000R after wanting one for years. I bought one over a year ago, but it arrived broken. I've been watching a ton of videos since then to get some inspiration :) What a beautiful machine it is
@@Synth-PatchesCom I'd be curious id you'd share what type of processing you added beyond the internal eq / effects of the MS2000. Sounds like stereo delay w / reverb? Additional filtering to tame the low and high end?
@@chperrone No EQ, no post processing, just a little cheap reverb. But you can listen to the 100% dry sounds (direct from the synth) here: soundcloud.com/user-797888008/sets/microworld-100-patches-for-korg-microkorg-dry-sound - this is the Microkorg version, but sounds are the same.
I don't believe it! Just a day ago i was listening to your presets for ASM Hydrasynth and since i liked them so much i checked your channel for MS-2000 presets but without finding any. Though now here they are! Thank you so much! Are the patches compatible with MS2000B as well? If yes then I' m gonna grab them for sure.🙂🙏
I bought your patches for XD and Hydrasynth and they are all so inspiring. One question is where do you find all of this great video footage for your videos?
@@amsterdamned6209 it doesn't look bad imho. The screen is nice, more voices, new oscillator types. If the price reaches a sweet spot some day, I might get one (on the condition that it's compatible with the patch set, of course!)
Sounds identical to your microKORG patches. Of course, I know the microKORG has the same engine as the MS2000, and both can load the same patches without major issues. The only remarkable exception is the lack of the "mod sequencer" feature on the microKORG (so, the MS2000 patches will sound fine on the microKORG, but the "mod sequencer" part is omitted). Have any of the new patches been edited to make explicit use of the "mod sequencer" on the MS2000?
Yes indeed, this is the same soundset I've created for the MicroKorg. I've just wanted MS2000 owners to be able to find and access these sounds :) So no mod sequencer feature here. But I'm going to create another soundbank for the original Microkorg (MS2000 compatible).
My first synth, you’ve made some wonderful patches here, thank you ❤
This is pure art! Fantastic patches bruh!
Thank you, have fun! :)

Yes, I need to think about the Take 5.

Great job; very nice sound design for the MS2000/Microkorg. I just bought the pack, now I have to send the sysex to the 2000R !
As far as I know the Roland Um-One works great with Microkorg / MS2000. And there will be more sounds next year :)

Yes, this synth engine is surprisingly amazing :)
What is wrong with it? Just got mine fixed by a tech after another tech had it and did not know how to fix it.
What a fabtaaaaastic sounds aaaarrrggghhh!!!!!
Thank you! There will be more :D

nice programming. incredibly lush

Thank you. Not plans for the Waldorf M...

Yes these patches will work with the MS2000B :)
does this work for the old korg ms2000 the big blue one?
Yes :)
I bought your patches for XD and Hydrasynth and they are all so inspiring. One question is where do you find all of this great video footage for your videos?
Some of the footage was generated by Runway AI. You can go to archive.org, there is a huge library of old vintage tv programs.
Side note: a new microkorg version was just released.
I've seen the new Microkorg and I'm very dissapointed! How about you?
@@Synth-PatchesCom not sure yet, gonna wait for the Loopop review. Not clear to me how Korg is positioning this version.
@@thomas.moerman Don't expect it to sound as good/better than the Mk.1 it never goes that way!

making me think twice about selling mine....
This is great synth engine. Don't sell it. I decided to keep my Microkorg forever :) There will be more sounds in the future.
Is this right out of the MS2000 or have you added effects?
Some of the examples have a little reverb added, but you can listen to the 100% dry sounds here: synth-patches.com/korg-ms-2000/
What revers do you use?
A cheap one: Boss RV-6 :)
