I'm on console with only 300 hours played, but I've been watching DayZ content for several years. Only recently I started actually playing and taking it serious and I'm NOT disappointed, I'm doing phenomenal. On paper I'm a noob, but in my mind I'm an expert. Thanks Smoke.

How do you spot people so easily? I struggle to pick people out like that. I only have 100 or so hours but still. I deliberately take my time and slow down and still don’t see people like that
After playing thousands of hours, you develop a lot of automatic habits. Like even just knowing where to scan and where to (kinda) ignore.
100 hours is like 30 minutes into a run. You're a freshy, dude. Just have fun ;)
you have to put more time in. when you build up play time, you develop habits. if you get shot and see the gunsmoke, that spot becomes a first to check location. you just got to keep dying and keep learning and you will build up good habits. just try to learn from your deaths and you're all good
I know you're probably tired of hearing this but PLEASE consider cross-streaming or posting the replays here (if that's even possible). I'm mostly caught up on your videos here but the Twitch mobile app is so junked that I can't even get through a full replay without closing it out and jumping back to where I was multiple times. these are segments from old vods. thats why this channel is called the archive. he streams pretty much everyday and a lot of his streams are 6 to 12 hours long. he has a long back log of content to keep us entertained

yes, you can wash your hands in troughs, the ocean, lakes, rivers, water pumps, and you can also use water bottles, canteens, cooking pots, gasoline and glass bottles.

Hey smoke i just got .z finally on ps5 i played on 1 server n didnt know i had to fav it to save it n logged off i went to play on a different server server n it keeps sayer error logged into a different server how do i fix this so i can play it again?
try and see if you have a recent servers tab, or youll have to quite literally go through each community server till you find the one that lets you log in,
