berserker lost because crest worms in kariya couldn’t keep up with berserker’s mana use and died because of that berserker stunned due to mana lack and saber stabbed him
This ship dilema was an interesting gotcha, and it showed that sometimes cold calculation might be sub optimal. Because he was held up by 200 people, 300 people abandoned their ship and split into two. If he instead repaired 200 peoples ship, he could strive to save another 200 people from the split 300 crew, or even have a situation where he could save all of them. Which he couldnt because he was busy killing 200 people in his way. Unless im misunderstanding the scenario
It kind of reminds me of the Co-V-iD situation, where hospitals and doctors have to decide on who to save who to let go, and often they would putting older patients with medical history vs younger generally healthy individuals on the scale. And then there's the background and wealth factor as well...
Cut content The winner of the war has 2 options: killing 6 servants to gain a wish or kill all 7 and get to the root... The only person who didn't want the wish was Tokiomi
Also, it's an interesting contradiction Saber, who followed her ideals, but came to regret them, and Kiritsugu, who despite being brutally shown the flaws in his ideal, he stuck to it, and didn't stray.
The psychological lesson here is simple. We, as human beings, do not live in a singular place during a singular time. We live in multiple places over the course of time. Our actions must take this basic fact into consideration. Life is an iterated game. If your philosophy doesn't project itself into the future and instead, only takes the here and now into account, it will always be flawed. At the end Kiritsugu finally began to envision the future through the lens of his philosophy. In true poetic fashion the correct iterated action at that moment was to embody the sacrifice of the ultimate minority for the ultimate majority. Some may call this a cop out to the deeper questions at play, but for me I think it's beautiful writing. Awesome fkn reaction Caw, I was waiting for you to get to this episode bro.
different ideals at play if they were to choose between saving a very important girl in their life vs saving the world kiritsugu will choose the world, shirou will choose the girl, and prisma ilya would try to save both
Shirou chooses the girl only in Heaven's Feel route and Prisma (his sister). Other routes, He will LITERALLY try to give all he has to save everyone. ... ... ... ... And then there is EMIYA (Shirou) Alter...
I love Zero for bringing us Waver and he will be a prominent part in the future Fate series and spin-off but I also hate Zero for disrespecting Saber character by bastardised her character that goes against her personality in og Fate.
Actually, Waver already existed in Materials, the only character Urobuchi created was Maiya. But thanks to her existence we have Sigma... Wait, apparently Maiya was already Nasu's idea, but Urobuchi got to name her, at least!
sadly if you are looking for saber redemption she doesn't get any in zero, saber redemption arc is in studio deen's fate/stay night in other words the fate route which is her main route but she still gets some character in UBW aswell so look forward to that .
Kiritsugu stronger than kirei confirmed😅 Also I heard the yapping anime is tomorrow... Edit: oh wait I was suppose to say kirei stronger than kiritsugu because he tanked it even after getting buried alive😅
@@scares3859 That's why I said that. People that know Saber's real character loves her from Fate route and hates Zero because of how the writer wrote her the way that contradicted her character.
I'm very sorry Fate fans, but Kiritsugu sold me as a better MC by just LITERALLY one season without 100+hours of Shirou as an mc. Blame the directors for choosing the most vanilla route to their show, but most of us functioning adults actually need to pay bills for our families Edit: yes I'd love to play the VN but I ain't actually got time for that. In my argument: the director could have easily chosen the more character story driven route (as a naive teenager with hero complex route) for Shirou, and given the information they choose the most family friendly route is actually kinda dumb and I'll die on that hill

Really enjoying the Fate/Zero journey! Hope you get to UBW and Heaven's Feel someday
Grail is cursed, even if you wish back things it'll end up destroying everything anyways
To be fair, Saber is supposed to have her character arc in Stay Night. So it would be weird for her to reach a satisfying conclusion within Zero.
Basically the grail got corrupted back in the 3rd holy grail war.
IIRC, in novel it was stated that at the point of their battle, both Kiritsugu and Kirei could practically keep up with some of dead apostles.

Just imagine betting everything on a miraculous wish granting device and then when you finally get it you figure out that said device is a dud…

The episode that damns utilitarian thought as its finest is here lesgo
These upload timings are so perfect 😭
executor is no joke
Saber doesn't get her redemption here, unfortunately.
🗿
That episode really was like reading faust
Kirei’s wife really isn’t featured in this which is surprising because she is the reason why he hates Kiritsugu
Why?
It will be brought up in HF
Oh heaven's feel... Guess I won't find out yet😁

Yeah, Waver was definitely the real winner of the first Holy Grail war (at least among masters).
Pretty sure he’s the only master from Zero that’s still alive in the Fate Universe too.
Dang Saber interrupting Kirei's Ballet with Kiritsugu
Pure Cinema!!!
PEAK!
Kiritsugu vs Kirei is peak anime
🎉Next episode is gonna be so funny bro I have to see your reaction
Kirei is allso in a alt world in Fate/liner prisma illya

Who doesn't hate saber from fate zero 😂😂
But we love Saber from Fate
@@notbadrule9883 generally, but not zero

Not just her but Zero butchered Fionn mac Cumhaill's character and also the anime didn't properly introduce Enkidu.
I hate urobocchi not saber he was the one who flawed her character he can't write her properly he said it himself maybe she just too complex for him
I still don't like zero because of urobochi fking up saber
