im coming into your channel as a VOLS fan from Tennessee. I just wanted to make a point: Hats off to your coach for making the decision early in the season/game. Our Titans coach has been putting up with this turnover nonsense for the last three weeks. If he doesnt bench Will Levis soon he should be fired. Will is now the worst QB in the NFL for turnovers. Great coaches make tuff decisions. Hats off to yours for doing the right thing. After watching your second string nearly break his back doing a front flip for a touchdown it shouldnt be up for debate: that guy should be the captain.
Here is my challenge. Every year Bill B plays this mix and match game. Everyone has to play a different position pretty much every game and voila by the end of the season we find out we will have a 1st round pick for an offensive lineman. Great. He needs to figure out how to get then ready to play by the 2nd or 3rd game. I’m not disputing his ability to get these boys ready to be 1st round picks. But get them ready to play earlier.
Regardlessly who the QB is if the O-line doesn't execute it's not gonna matter a whole lot! But that's the bottom line! The O-line has to get healthy! That's it for me!
Coop is on to something- I’m of the mindset that Seth was elevated because of his relationship w JA to keep Jackson to stay put. I also fill like Josh Heupel took his foot off the gas. There were times, he could have took shots and thrown over the middle of the field but chose to run. Our defense played good. we didn’t have an offense. Heupel knew that: why give our defense a chance to make a play.
There was alot of bad decision making on Arnolds part and its hard to defend him when his back up comes in and shows we can do something with the lineup we have, but i do put most of the blame on the o-line i think jackson arnold would be alot better with a good o-line
coming into this game i knew we could hold our own against their offense against our defense. but to hold a very good vole volunteer football team that is leading the country in scoring at 50 points a game
He was rhe top recruit in the country. Just can't tell how a guy will handle the pr3ssure until game action. Our offensive line has been bad for a few years now too so I think we didn't help the kid at all. Hopefully some time off will clear his head and help him see the field differently. In the mean time we see what Michael Hawkins looks like in the fire. Everyone loves the backup, ut we'll see. Hawkins does look more ready right now. Hopefully our Oline doesn't get him killed. But ya, every D1 college wanted Jackson Arnold. He came to OU b3cause of last years OC Jeff Lebby, and he bolted for Miss. State. I wouldn't be surprised if Arnold transfers to Miss. State, or USC, or Colorado.
The offensive creativity is 100% lacking…no stretch runs or zone runs to the outside was a 100% coaching error…the TE’s CANNOT block anyone!! Ask a TE who can’t to take on the best edge in the country is insane
Cause Caleb could single handedly save a game. After RRR, Caleb could do no wrong. Idk if MHJ is that type of guy just yet. He is good, but can he carry the team to a win by himself? We’ll see soon
Apples to oranges bro. JA wasn't #1 recruit in the nation for no reason. It honestly just seems like he has regressed and to me that seems like coaching. . .
@@PatriotPartyNo, JA’s issue his MENTAL. He just doesn’t have what it takes right now. Anyone being honest saw this during the bowl game, but listening to everybody say how young he was and he needs time, he was given a chance. But, he has only proven what was seen during that bowl game.

Missed assignments from Olineman and TEs is on Bedenbaugh and Finley, and Littrell to a lesser extent. Venables is going to have to start dojng their job for them.
Seth Littrel is a horrible play caller. 1st and goal and sends JA up the middle like he's a full back. WTF??? JA is like a deer in the headlights the 2nd string QB could've won this game if they'd made the decision earlier.
@scotthensley4726 I disagree with you but not totally. Seth Litrel made a horrible decision, not a horrible play caller, here is the difference. Seth observed all fall camp who the better quarterback was between J.A. and Hawk jr. Instead of going with what he observed he decided to go with the pressure of starting J.A. this ultimately lead our 3 horrible games and the exposure to Tennessee. I want to ask you to hold off on your opinion of Seth Litrel's play calling until after the Texas game. We will get to witness his play calling with Michael Hawkins jr and we'll see a difference. #Boomer
Tennessee fans are awesome and me. And my son we went out to eat at taco Casa in Norman. And met a group of Tennessee fans and they were such nice people. We talked for a while. You know, they asked me how I thought the game would go. My son was telling them dad is always negative. I hate to be like that, but I'm negative a lot of times And I shouldn't be like that.I'm like negative Nancy, but I told them there that we were gonna lose by at least 2 touchdowns. And that jackson was going to throw at least 2 Interceptions , two of them and that he would probably Fumble the ball 1 or 2. Times and after the game, my son said dad. You are right, wow, and you've been right. The whole season. I told him that if we do not get rid of this offensive coordinator and they keep using Jackson throughout the season. We'll be lucky to win one more. And that's it, and you know who we're going to beat Maine, and that's it if they use Jackson Arnold throughout the whole season. I'm tired of hearing. People bragging about this kid. But sometimes these highly talented high school. Kids just don't turn out the way you want them to. And they're not coached by the right person. Maybe unfortunately, are offensive. Coordinator is horrible. I'd never heard so many people in my section. So mad at the offensive coordinator. It was insane his play calling was just horrible. If they could get somebody really good to get this Offensive coordinato going will be really good, but if they don't fix this issue soon, we are going to have players that are going to decommit and go elsewhere. That's how it is today times have changed so they need to fix this fast. Quit procrastinating
I think this is the most depressed I’ve been as a fan, the 6-7 season sucked but there was a good reason why, I just don’t understand how we got this bad, I love BV he’s done an amazing job on d but not getting an elite OC is hurting us
All of a sudden Caden Green’s transfer to Mizzou makes sense. Maybe he didn’t want to be associated with this mess? Auburn would grab JA from the Portal with a quickness if he were available.
The lack of understanding of the playcall directly falls on seth. Guys not knowing their assignmenta, or executing them, falls on Seth. The bad play calls falls on Seth. The portal misses with players falls on Seth. All of Seths failures fall on BV. BV has to get his head out of the sand and take control of his offense.
My God.. We are looking any of our stats in a good look? 15 first downs 7 yards 3 turnovers and a safety is the only offensive stat that matters. We could be looking at a 3 game streak... People thinking Suburbs defense stinks..All they need to do is put all 11 near the line because they know OU can't go deep...and until we can prove it.. just Smother the line..
I am surprised Gabe Ikard is not on meds by now after these 4 games. It's horrible offensive line play, top down. Soft, no push, every single players heads are turned different ways at the snap looking at different things. Receivers can't catch, get open or block. I mean its crazy!!! It's crazy bad, CRAZY bad, we wouldn't beat Abilene Christian rn. Top down bad across the board. I say it's 70% players horrible and 30% offensive play calling.
Arnold should have been benched before this game honestly and we could see this coming dating back to last year's bowl game. He just isn't the answer to leading OU to where they're trying to go. It looks like Seth Litrell also needs to go. I've seen enough of a sample size to say that he just isn't creative enough and there have been too many questionable plays and a complete lack of any sort of running game.
I'd say it's OUr injury situation being arguably as bad, if not worse than any other team in college football moreso than us joining the SEC being the challenge. We could have went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the SEC with OUr top 5 receivers out, missing Olinemen, as well as other defensive players injured. It all starts with the OLine. Jackson needs that to be a pocket passer because that's what he is. Hawkins is better for what we have but I will not write off Jackson because we all have seen what he can do with time and receivers that he trusts to make the catch. A lot needs work.
