What a brilliant course, such a top man to enter Liga and you into his local race, hats off to that man 👍🏻 also have to say, Liga’s race outfit looked amazing 👌🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Fantastic video Lloyd - what a beautiful part of this world! Looking sharp in the Saysky gear too 🙂 (trying to un-see that dude running to the finish line with his baby though...!)
‘If Carlsberg did…..’ run race videos they would employ you Loyd - fabulous stuff - as a mainly road runner nothing makes me want to hit the trails like one of these videos mate 👍👍
Absolutely awesome from Naim to enter Liga and yourself into a great training race for TDS. Looks such a great race with amazing scenery. Thanks for such a fantastic video and good luck with the rest of your training before the TDS. 👍🏼👍🏼

Glad you enjoyed the video Ian. The R4A community is amazing and so supportive! 😊 Thanks for watching mate and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏😊
Great video Loyd! That course looked amazing and the weather looked incredible. Really impressed how you kept shooting video while climbing with just one pole. Haha done it myself and that selfie-stick always gives way to the poles. Congratulations to you and Liga and I'll see you in Chamonix.👍💪🔥🔥🔥
It sure was a stunning race route Grant! You really are spoilt for choice out here, so many stunning trails to run! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏😊
great film! lovely to see the Alps from somewhere else other than the UTMB course. can't wait for more content in the coming weeks. best of luck out there.
Wow. I really enjoyed the video and it would be wonderful to be able to run there someday. 😍 And very sweet greetings for your wedding anniversary ❤️❤️🥂😎
Glad you enjoyed the video Ellie! I'm the other way around, I've never seen it with snow on the ground 😊 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
Loved watching the video, where can I find details of the race ? Looking to expand my horizons away from the road next year and a race like this looks like it will suit a first timer ?
This is the race we did: www.traildeshautsforts.com/ As for first time running it, it will depend on how fast you adapt to altitude and also your physical fitness. Great race though! I hope you can make it one day
@@naimharb5305 awesome thanks for the link, I’m a 4hr 48min marathoner and have now started to train with a lot more vertical gain thrown in, as for the altitude I guess I’ll have to find that out sooner or later
Quick question, how do you find races in France? In-Laws have a house in Normandy, would love to see if there are any local races when we are over there. Thank you!
loved this video. We are in the middle of winter here and it was lovely to see the sun.Ligas outfit looked stunning can i ask where its from? best of luck with the races coming up ♡
Thanks Kerrie, really glad you enjoyed the video and it bought you some sunshine! 😊 Like Naim said, Liga's outfit is from SAYSKY. They make some awesome running apparel, I've actually got the same outfit for the TDS 🌻🌹🏵️ Hope this helps and thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
Loyd, why don’t you get a pair of poles for Liga to help her get up those mountains? Really enjoyed watching your video. Hope the training out there goes well.
Liga's done several tough mountain races and she's never used poles before! I've offered many times to sort some out but she doesn't want to use them, she's a purist! 💪😁 Really glad you enjoyed the video Roger, thanks for watching 🙏
@@Run4Adventure I have just ordered a pair. I recently watched another vlog who said they were a firm shoe, it this true? I am walking the 100km Thames path challenge in September. I did it last year and because it is so flat and constantly hitting the same foot stride. I suffered badly with my heels, calves, hams, lower back and glutes. Basically the whole back of leg muscles, as the quads didn’t get used. Could you please suggest a shoe suitable for such an event, maybe a rocker to help with my gait? I am an over pronator with a prolapsed disc and lower back issues.
It was really good prep for the TDS, not to long and lots of elevation! It's so good to be back out in the mountains and I'm feeling a lot more confident about the whole thing. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏😊
