Great photos, worth losing a bit of sleep over, but the photos will last forever! (Some even seem over exposed; maybe bracket down to 5 seconds, or ISO 200 or 100.)
You, sir, have inspired me to buy my very 1st D200 a few days ago :) I used to have a D80 (same sensor/processor) many years ago (with 18-70 and Sigma 30/1.4), but sold it after I had switched to Fujifilm X100 and other Fujifilm X cameras/lenses. Recently however I kind of missed the experience of taking pictures with a DSLR, hence my decission. I also got another 18-70 in mint condition as well as a 30/1.8 and a 50/1.8D (these things are really cheap these days) - very happy about the whole set :) Cheers from Warsaw, PL!
Thank you for watching! Glad I could be of assistance, hopefully you will be very happy with that new D200 kit. It sounds like a winning combination. Thanks Again -Ron-
Absolutely amazing! I think this video ranks as the best ever for your channel, the excitement in your voice was wonderful! We were supposed to be able to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights here in North England, but the UK being its usual self decided to be extremely overcast 🙄..
Wow, thank you Derek! We've had our share of gray cloudy days, too, but last night was pretty clear. Supposed to be some pretty good aurora again tonight, and so far, the sky is still clear and blue.
Ron, God bless you!! You and I are contemporaries in age an photographic experience, and I LOVE your videos - very informative, very down-to-earth. Your Aurora photos are STUNNING!! I own a D200 as well, and even though I am fortunate enough to own a boatload of current Nikon high resolution cameras, I love my D200, and use it frequently. By all means, keep up the GREAT work!!
Beautiful pictures! I have a new appreciation for my old D200 now! Thank you for showing us the chosen picture in large print like you always do. Greetings from Sabah, Malaysia.
Really lovely shots, making a convincing case for me to hunt down a D200
Ron, You are an inspiration. Keep doing what you do is the best :-Creating beautiful memories.
Stunning pics in avaialble light.👍
Many thanks!
I love your stories, your photos from Alaska and that you use the older cameras and show how capable they are in the right hands.
Thank you Tony. That is a very encouraging comment and I surely do appreciate it. Glad you are enjoying my channel.
Amazing pictures.....who says the D200 can't do low light.......could get some great timelapse from the intervalometer
Thank you Michael. I might give the old intervalometer a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for your videos, I just bought 2 of these cameras and I’m loving them.
Well done! Wishing you great success with them.

My pleasure! Thank you for watching.
What iso did you use to capture those?
