Welcome back to my channel. The journey of cutting down my amount of clothing continues. All the bits that i'm getting rid of will either be up on my Depop (@EmilyCanham) or will be going to charity
The clothes in my closet have been built up over the last 5 years or so and before this year i'd never really got rid of much. However, i've come to the conclusion that it's time to cut down the amount of clothing that I own. Especially the clothing that sits there and never gets worn!!! Join me on this decluttering mission!

Your folding stressed me out 😂😂 I'm such a perfectionist!!! Now you have more hanging space, would it be easier if you hung up your t-shirt dresses, long sleeved tops and other tops? Could maybe put your jeans/denim in the draw? Just a thought, it might be more space efficient?? Anyway, LOVED this video! Decluttering is my favourite 😍😂

I wish I had an actual closet I only have a set of drawers and all of my clothes don't fit in it and they get all wrinkled.

"they're staples" - that's the reason why i kept a plain white shirt in my closet for so long and - guess what - never wore it. now i only keep "staples" when they are actually MY staples and don't care if others say/write/think that you need this or that.
Wow... when I clear my wardrobe I look at everything after opening the doors and close the doors straight away thinks I’ll wear everything 🤣
i like to leave all my "donation" clothes in a bag or two, in the closet for a week or two and if i dont want something out of them by then i donate them
Does the midi floral skirt not just go with a white vest bodysuit and a pair of sandals or white trainers in the summer? Or is it not high waisted🤔
The fact that you know where you first/last wore an item of clothing really shows how much you love and appricate your belongings ❤❤❤

I consider myself a minimalist and I genuinely forgot some people own this much clothing haha.
It's lovely that you are recycling and selling them on your depop but please stop supporting fast fashion :) really satisfying to watch so much stuff go though xx
Something that I've learned is that you have to get "your version" of classic staples. I'd argue the acid wash black mom jeans you have are the "your version" of the classic black jean staple.
This gives me so much motivation holy shit
But.... The way you leave hangers everywhere drives me slightly crazy !

For that floral skirt you've got trouble styling, a plain white top with a lace turtle neck or a ruffled turtle neck would be gorgeous, or any other color in the skirt as a top..
This motivates me to do the same. I always keep things and never wear them. Love this Emily❤

I had a clear out, literally it was emptying 2 draws, clear out of jackets and coats and then my trousers. Feels good and im not even finished! Its interesting how much us girls have!
